  1. John, what's the deal with KBF? It seems like A LOT of those guys are from VA
  2. good luck to both groups! I'd love to hear a report!

I used to find that milk helped a little with nasty tasting steroids.
  4. i shouldnt have to worry bout that, ill be on the UPPER james so will they!
  5. I wouldn't call myself a "fan" per se...considering this was the first time I've ever watched a full game (and I've attended one in person before...) but yeah, that sucked.
  6. I must be shopping at the wrong stores. All the Big Game and Cajun Red that I've ever handled was absolutely miserable--barely worthy of backing.
  7. the first picture is deceptive. You normally can't launch there on that side in the summer without getting muddy. So....that leaves the second picture. With a heavy kayak or a jon that requires two people...it wasn't fun. It wasn't that bad but you would have to be careful where you stepped or you could trip on the rocks.
  8. Those were the ones! I believe they may have cleared a tree or some brush also.
  9. ask the resident paddletail expert. His username is Fourbizz. He'll be able to help you as to what paddletails work best in what conditions.
  10. I don't know about the newer Premier but I own the 2009 version and it is not exactly easy to throw light baits with. I love it for 3/8oz and heavier but it gets touchy when throwing anything lighter than that. If you want a reel that will throw light baits, buy the reel that was made to do it. A Steez, Core, or Sol would all be a great choice.

lol. Sorry to tell you guy, but that's not a "patch" it's a "crack."

A "patch" that gives you the full program that typically costs money?

don't you fish LH retrieves also?
  14. courtesy flush + a can of aerosol air sanitizer
  15. there used to be another big boulder right next to that one. You had to shimmy around/over it with boats.
  16. Tec Spec? http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1272288473
  17. don't listen to these guys. Ask a member named Fourbizz. He uses these baits in California to catch HUGE largemouth. He has some sort of modification he does to keep them running correctly. I'm sure he'd be willing to share if you send him a PM.
  18. Would be even nicer if he would at least pass along some of the unused line he gets to friends or BR members. I could....but then what would I use to hang my christmas decorations?!?
  19. yep. those boulders were a huge PITA to lift a jon around
  20. I'm with Tin. I don't understand how or why anyone would use P-Line CX or CXX on a spinning reel. Right now I am using Trilene 100%. At first it was great but through the winter and now into spring I've been having some line twist/coiling issues. Next is Seaguar Invizx.
  21. I dunno. I'm kind of on the fence. I'd like to see something like a rental place pop up but I'm sure that the lack of facilities contributes to the relatively few poachers, light traffic, and small amounts of trash at the reservoir. The new Mt. Hope area is a BIG improvement for launching small craft.
  22. I think this just might be the longest "bump" I have EVER seen!
  23. I carry a fold out knife for whatever. Never know when you might need to use it.
  24. That's up to personal perception but I couldn't agree more. The U.S. has a great diversity of landscapes, climates, sights, cultures, and people. You can take a vacation in our country and feel like you've gone to another. I would love to take a roadtrip to CA or even AK. I just recently took a roadtrip through the South as my first experience of that region. As for your question, I'd say the west. There are some beautiful sights in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, California, etc.
