  1. Oh come on, I bought 3 licenses that last for 2 years each of BitDefender for $30...Just look around. You just aren't going to get the same kind of protection with free programs as you will with programs you buy. I know Glenn uses PC-Cillin, as does my dad. It is very highly rated. So are BitDefender, Kaspersky, and ESET's NOD32... As far as I know, all have very good detection rates but NOD32 uses the least system resources (it is also the most expensive from what I've seen)

This has to be the second or third post about this. Muddy is not here anymore. LBH is busy as far as I've heard.
  3. yes, i meant you would be able to fish both the Occ res and Burke as long as it is setup so you can pull the engine up. You can use it at the Res but you have to pull it out of the water to use it at Burke. Sorry.
  4. I'm not sure you can take a gas motor on Beaverdam, but you would be ok to launch at the Occoquan Reservoir and Burke as long as you can pull the motor up out of the water.
  5. That particular set I purchased from Redline Robert. They are Bassart knobs and fit Bassart handles real well. You can get them here. http://japantackle.com/Tuning_parts/Tuning_handles_Shimano.htm They are a bit on the heavy side just so you know.(solid aluminum) Awesome! I think those red ones would look killer on a Core MG. It wouldn't hurt too much to add a little weight to that reel!

I agree. I really think it's a toss up at this point.
  7. If Alabama (specifically McElroy) plays like they did against Florida, Texas is in trouble. If not, it will be close.
  8. Yeah, drinking heavily was probably the only way to be able to watch it. That was possibly the corniest, most immature piece of programming I've ever seen.
  9. get a real antivirus program?
  10. Blaine, where'd you get those purple handles and can you get them for Shimano reels?
  11. says the recently engaged man about his boat. ;D
  12. that sucks. glad she's ok. But seriously, it's not a problem for me to come get you.
  13. damnit! Can't I just give you the money?!?! Just kidding. ;D
  14. oh yeah, Aaron, if you are looking to do some more deep water fishing: Thai and I were on separate boats last week at Occoquan and we both did pretty well fishing deep. He caught them on jigs and I caught some on silver buddies in 15'-22' If we don't get into them, we can try Mattawoman? Just an idea.
  15. just a few things. Ordered a whole bunch of jigs and got a couple bags of flipping baits. Thai, remind me to bring money to pay you back for those Cover Craws. I have no idea about locations. Mattawoman? Pohick? Occoquan? Leesylvania?
  16. the expensive kind. ;D You've made me eat 7-11 food. You know I'm not picky
  17. I ordered them on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and received them the following Thursday I believe? I'm not sure though.
  18. I know a guy who makes his own beer. He had one style that used 6 times the hops as an IPA. He said it cost about $15 per bottle to make....I'll stick with store bought stuff.
  19. Just as a question, have you given Google Chrome or Apple Safari a try? I found both to be faster than IE and Firefox.
  20. holy crap! my brother in Danville said they got some, but it wasn't nearly that much. Do houses in CA even have heaters? Fireplaces?
  21. The bottom line is that fishermen shouldn't have to risk being arrested to fish a lake that was built with taxpayer money. (As far as I know, Lake Manassas was a public lake built by public funds.) If it increases pressure, who cares. It's still better for the fisherman to have an open lake than no lake at all. If you want it kept private so you can have a trespassing honey hole, than you are no less selfish than the golf course. I wasn't able to go to the meeting. Did anyone go?
  22. Aaron, did you try the Nepalese Warrior yet? I just had an Alec Bradley Select Cabinet Reserve, if you haven't had one, you need to try one.
  23. Cute, Catt. But I would hardly call an OT comeback as "Romped" ;D
  24. I don't know how to do it but I saw a guy do it on the killcam. Somehow he was laying down in a rock and could see out through it. We couldn't see him but he sure could see us. I think we could still kill him with grenades and airstrikes but it really was annoying. It was back by the area with the flak cannons.
