  1. That. Sounds. Awesome.
  2. Sundays are free for me. I couldn't care less about NFL. Saturdays during the NCAA season are a different story...
  3. yes, I've fished it a few times. Never did very well. As far as I'm concerned it sucks. I'd imagine what you would "have luck on" would change depending on the time of year, water temp, weather, and fish location.
  4. I've given them a fair shake as shaky head worms and they have been extremely unimpressive.

ahaha. That reminds me of the episode of "The Office" when Michael followed his GPS unit into a lake. ;D
  6. matt, I'm assuming you mean Rob M.?
  7. the cost is for the good components. I don't think I've ever seen one run crooked or get damaged. The blades spin very easily. The screaming eagles are great baits.

The reason why I want to be able to add a bunch of POIs is so that I can mark all the neighborhood ponds, lakes, and various launches I use for fishing. I have them compiled in a google map but I would like to have them in my car so I can get from one to the other if I don't know the area or remember how to get there.
  9. congratulations! Great deer!

I need some advice on portable dashboard GPS units. I want to get a unit that has lots of memory so that I can store a TON of Points of Interest. I also want a unit that will read street names to me out loud. Good maps and free updates are a must. Anyone have any recommendations?

    great news, Grimlin!
  13. I thought it was pretty funny. There is a whole series of advertisements like these.
  14. you know what? I'm pretty sure that was how we felt when we loaded the boat. This was actually the best of my few trips to Burke as far as numbers go. We were pretty happy that we were able to locate and pull fish off of deep structure/cover because I'm pretty sure that collectively we had very close to zero experience with that sort of fishing.
  15. what about the Amish!?!? I'm telling you, they make good stuff! ;D and it doesn't cost so much that you have to separate it into yearly payments
  16. It's Burke Lake...it's not known for being easy. It can be good some days for the right people, but today was not one of those days or we were not those people.
  17. yeah, 7 between all of us. Also a warmouth and a crappie. I took a pic of the crappie to show a friend who is a crappie fisherman, other than that, nothing was worth getting the camera out.
  18. You realize the money goes IN the wallet, not ON the wallet. Don't see the point in buying a new wallet every year when I haven't dealt with it for the last 10. Still seems silly. I've gotten 3 years of use out of a $10 Dockers wallet. That's $3.33 per year of use. You pay 10 times that right now. Even if your wallet lasts 50 years, it would cost you $7 per year. Even if I only kept the Dockers wallet for 2 years, it would still only cost $5 per year.

  20. I just bought a very nice one from an Amish store in Central PA....don't think we have any done our way.
  21. I'm not sure anyone can consistently pull fish out of Burke, not year round at least. ;D
  22. No problem, wish I could be more help.
  23. yeah, I've noticed that a couple times this season as well...The polls are basically calling those wins flukes.
  24. false. The Plymouth Superbird is the sexiest car ever made:
