  1. Both are CAA teams. The problem with them is that they suck. Northeastern's football facilities are terrible. They don't get good recruits and therefore don't have good teams. It's tough to generate money with crappy teams. Another factor may be precisely the fact that they have super rich, spoiled kids. Sometimes schools with student bodies that are composed of rich, snooty, northeastern kids have difficulty generating interest in football because the kids just don't care. This is the case with Richmond. They are the reigning FCS champions but they don't have a very large fan base and do not sell out very often (at least in recent years, this year may have been different). They also have a small stadium. All that has been attributed to the fact that they don't place importance on football because the kids are rich, snobby, private school kids who just don't care. *I completely understand that I am saying Hofstra sucks despite the fact that they beat my JMU Dukes this year. It was a fluke, get over it.
  2. oh crap! the directions to the place that website is talking about take you out to Wolftown, VA. That's pretty far!

I thought they had a good chance to win but I didn't think it would be that lopsided.

  11. I'm not sure what I think about it. It's definitely gross, but unethical? I dunno. As far as I have been told, fish can't feel pain so I'm not sure what the moral dilemma is.
  12. Tuesdays my only planned outing as well. The rest of the week is yet to be determined.
  13. The might fit smaller round reels but they are best on low profiles. They will fit on the reel while it's mounted on the rod.
  14. I use THESE. 4 reel covers + 4 rod covers for $15
  15. Jay, do you keep lots of bass or just the smaller ones like the ones posted? Not many of us around here keep them. That's a nice Northern. I've only ever caught one but I wouldn't mind catching more.
  16. same here. i just went to make a sandwich but then realized I don't have any bread... >
  17. Last I checked the park was supposed to close on the 8th. I had heard the ramp was going to be closed to rentals recently.
  18. Fountainhead is no longer renting jon boats, not sure about canoes. They'll start up again next year. Welcome, Jay! I'm sure us NOVA guys will do our best to get you familiarized with some of the local hotspots. I'm not a boater but I regularly fish with quite a few of the guys on this forum. Welcome to the area!
  19. I believe the map said 218 acres. Some of the smaller brushpiles could be hard to find even with electronics, that's why I'm thankful for the treasure map that John gave us!
  20. "Want to see? It's on my camera!" haha
  21. You know me, I'm always down. BTW Aaron, did you get a chance to try that Nepalese Warrior yet?
