Both are CAA teams. The problem with them is that they suck. Northeastern's football facilities are terrible. They don't get good recruits and therefore don't have good teams. It's tough to generate money with crappy teams. Another factor may be precisely the fact that they have super rich, spoiled kids. Sometimes schools with student bodies that are composed of rich, snooty, northeastern kids have difficulty generating interest in football because the kids just don't care. This is the case with Richmond. They are the reigning FCS champions but they don't have a very large fan base and do not sell out very often (at least in recent years, this year may have been different). They also have a small stadium. All that has been attributed to the fact that they don't place importance on football because the kids are rich, snobby, private school kids who just don't care. *I completely understand that I am saying Hofstra sucks despite the fact that they beat my JMU Dukes this year. It was a fluke, get over it.
