great news! I just got off the phone with my friend and he said the doctor told him that the chemo shrank many of his tumors and even made some disappear completely. He no longer has any active tumors. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

I just got back from an ill-advised trip to get some pizza. Bad idea. No wrecks, but I had a few close calls. For some reason, none of the local governments seemed to have taken any precautionary actions for this storm.

Montana lost yet again to a CAA football team in the FCS championship. I hate rooting for Villanova but I'm glad a CAA team won it, especially after Montana cheated my Dukes last year and even more especially after I made such strong predictions that a CAA team would win again this year. davis, I can honestly say I was rooting for App State against Montana last week. I hate Montana.

I like foods fried in peanut oil but I've never cooked with it. I'm jealous. A deep fryer would make frying a cooler full of crappie or white perch a whole lot easier.

Don't tell my parents, but no, I actually liked the ravioli in WV better than the lasagna I had last night. This place was SUPER fancy. It was in Georgetown and there's a dress code and they have pictures of former Presidents and actors and stuff. I think it was one of those places that everyone says is good because that's what other people say so they think that's what they're supposed to think. It was still a really good dinner, it was just one of those places that didn't really live up to the massive expectations that are built around it.

I hate winter. I'm moving to Texas.
