  1. I used to throw Strike King Premier Plus, until Dow Cox sent me those "Rattle Head Baits". Those things won me over quick. I prefer 3/8 oz. double willowleaf. White and firetiger are my favorite colors. Falcon
  2. The Red Eye Shad and Series 4 crankbaits I have in the Sexy Shad color have put ALOT of smallies in my boat this season. Falcon
  3. I have an Olympus Stylus 300. It's a very nice camera. My only problem is I always forget to bring it with me. Falcon
  4. Very funny. Well Olebiker, if she didn't teach you, then I'm pretty sure she taught me at Most Holy Trinity in Detroit. We had a nun there with a five o'clock shadow. Falcon
  5. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  6. Looks and sounds great. 13 lb'er huh? Congrats. Falcon
  7. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  8. I go fishing. Isn't that eccentric enough????LOL Falcon
  9. I remember when Scott was young, and would get in the way all the time at the garage. His dad Connie and Roy Steffy were instrumental in mine and my best friend's success in drag racing stock cars, back in the '60's My prayers go out to Connie and his family for such a huge loss. Falcon
  10. Sweet picture!! Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  11. I always rig them up. Falcon
  12. Glad to hear you FINALLY got your truck. That must have been brutal, not being able to fish. Have you taken the boat out yet? Falcon
  13. Yup, I've been there Russ. Not only does it sting a little bit, it's pretty embarassing as well. Falcon
  14. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  15. How often do you re-tie? After you catch a few fish you should check your line, and re-tie. I'm talking from experience. Falcon
  16. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. We need to change those golf numbers. 50 weeks is too much, you might hurt yourself. Falcon
  17. I've used XL for over twenty years. In that time I've tried other lines, but always come back to my trusty XL. I've never lost a fish due to line breakage, and I haven't found a line that suits my needs as well as XL. As Gary said, why try to fix what isn't broke? Falcon
  18. I always use a trailer hook, but I don't use a trailer very often. Falcon
  19. I haven't camped since my accident, but when we did it was in a tent. The only time the tent gets used now is when the grandkids want to play in it. Falcon
  20. I know the thought of not being able to fish for a while isn't very pleasing, but I would send it back to Fed-Ex. Falcon
  21. After checking last year's fishing log, I averaged anywhere from 4-6 per trip. Falcon
  22. When the Gander Mountain near me first opened, it was a great place to shop. They had a decent selection, and I liked their Guide Series rods. In the last five years, they have down sized their fishing department by 1/3, and they are always out of stock, the sales associates are less than informed. I'd rather travel the extra twenty-five miles to shop at BPS. Falcon
  23. I had to give up hunting after my accident, and all the surgeries, but if I had to make the choice, I would take fishing over hunting any day. Falcon
  24. How can you be upset after something like that????? The young man is a natural.............start working on getting sponsors lined-up.LOL Falcon
  25. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. You've been given alot of good information/suggestions, now go practice and then if you have any questions, ask away. Like I always told my students.........the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask. Good luck, Falcon
