  3. Nice Fish! What a day!
  4. Black isnt the only color bass can see at night, just the one that stands out the most. Ive caught night bass on a variety of different colors than black. But black does seem to work best. Fourbizz gj and nice fish.....Is that the new S-pro bbz 1-?
  5. Way to go OX-BASS, catchin the bigguns in private ponds is hella fun. At least now you know they are in there, and the best thing of all...you can catch them again because you decided not to mount. ;D I fish private ponds like this also...the problem is..I think there are so many bass in there I havent caught any over 2 pounds...but one year my dad caught and 8 lber 8-) I havent seen a fish bigger than 2 lbs since than...maybe I will get them this summer. Well good luck this year and keep em commin son.
  6. ROFL..they are the neighbors cats, thats not a good idea :
  7. About two days ago I was mowing the lawn when I came upon a bunch of clumped up grass... I noticed some fur in the clump so I looked under it and saw some baby rabbits, they looked really young, only about maybe 3 days old.. I didnt notice any mother rabbit around and was curious if she is supposed to take care of them or what? Do they feed off of the mother or just wait until they can eat vegetation.. Its been about two days now and I just went out and checked on the little buggers..they seem to have grown quite a bit from last time I seen them, but still no signs of the mother or anyhting I am also worried because there are a lot of cats in the niehgborhood that sometimes roam in my yard :-/ :-/ Im worried about the little buggers..any advice?
  8. Ryan, There is a large variety of different soft plastics on the market. (Maybe too much) Honestly I think location, seasonal pattern, and weather are more important. There are some days when bass will neglect different baits, but it does come down to confidence and knowledge. I remember when I went on my smallie trip last month...In the morning we caught over thirty smallies on different baits. Tubes, spider jigs, sabertail bugs..but by the afternoon they would only take tubes jigged off the bottom. Its all about what your confident in, and being able to adapt.
  9. If T-Rigging a senko I prefer a 3/0 EWG instead of a 4 because I think it gives it a little more action. But same with everyone else 4/0 for ikas, 5/0 for frogs. -WM
  10. Nice bass, congrats on the catch!
  11. What a day! They just keep on commin....
  12. I enjoy both fishing alone and with a partner. Most of the people above me already replied with the good and bads. But one thing is for sure, I always do catch more when i'm alone.
  13. I have a few of these baits but never caught a fish on them. They look somewhat cheap to me... Its like they tried to make them look good by a nice finish but its cheaply. Stick with Rapala, LuckyCraft, Xcalibur, etc Matzuop is out the door for me.
  14. Awesome video and nice fish! Thanks for the report -WM
  15. Congrats on the PB! Dosent it feel great?
  16. Welcome to the best Bass site in the world. Glad to have you as a member! -WM
  17. Wow thats sad. Its also compltely unfair to the fish, they dont stand a chance. At least in bass fishing the fish can decide if they want to take your bait or not, so cruel, so harmful. If I see someone spearfishing anywhere near me in the water, they have some big problems coming their way. -wm
  18. Nicely done Matt. Keep on casting, that state record has your name all over it. -Mike
  19. I believe the initial idea of the chatterfrog was for it to be buzzed under the surface and fished sort of like a topwater. The kicking aciton of the frogs legs make a lot of comotion, and used to draw reaction strikes. If fishing at night with it, be sure to add a black skirt, and also...a black frog wont hurt either. Best of luck. -WM
  20. Congrats! Nice fish..good luck with the DD's it will come -white Mike
  21. And the legacy continues! great vid Russ. 8-)
