Your comparing a GLX to a Vendetta here. Sure Abu's new rod is better than what they used to provide but it's still a different level of rod. Round Table is in a league of their own when it comes to pizza chains IMO. But the new Domino's is a big improvement over what they used make.

I have fished both and I like the Powell much more than the GL2. Lighter, more comfortable handle, at least as sensitive, and I like the overall action of the rod more.

I love the old school full sized color lights, but only along the trim of the house. I don't care for the little lights unless they are on a tree.

All I can tell you is that it just flat out catches fish and it is the exact same bait as the Don Iovino Splash It. Worth every penny.

Well after a week of searching high and low, throwing away tons of stuff that "could" have caused the smell that was coming form my fridge, I found out today that it was the asparagus in the veggie bin. I never would have guessed that it would turn like that in less than two weeks.

Fish are always eating other fish. If fish could talk, the ocean would be loud as fudge. Just a lot of fish saying "Shoot, I thought I looked like that rock!" That is a "cleaned up" version of one of my favorite Mitch Hedberg jokes.

I've been loving them since they first came out, and now that they have that chrome olive color... I just love it even more. It may be a little small but the big bass don't mind that at all.

As all the others have said, they are the best on the market. They don't need fancy heads and paint jobs because they just flat out catch fish. Plus they are made right here in the US of A

I've never had a problem with a fly being too small for the outfit I was using. You would typically run into a problem when the fly is too big.
