Not sure how hard and heavy you are looking for. Bullet for my Valentine is very talented, full of energy, and easy on the ears at the same time. Black Stone Cherry is a real good straight out rock band. Download Black Wood's Gold, Lonely Train, Rain Wizard, or Hell and High Water. Actually, that whole self titled album is good. Get Hundred Hollow Words by Kastasyde. That is a killer track. If you are into the old school crossover stuff like DRI, Suicidal, or Uncle Slam, down load some Municipal Waste. One of my favorite new bands from the last few years. Two more honorable mentions are the newest albums from some older bands. Power of the Damager from Prong (2007) and The Formation of Damnation by Testament (2008) Both of those albums are just amazing.

That "tiny little robots" song reminds me of The Vines.

Hey, they have to cut those checks to the big names some how. I can't think of another manufacture with a pro staff like Quantum's. Then you have companies like Loomis and St. Croix that spend their money on making great products instead of advertising.

Not a whole lot to say really, Bantam answered it for you. The only thing I would add is that last year at this time in S. Cal, I did good from shore by hopping a Hopkins or War Eagle jigging spoon. You can really get it out there into some deeper water and cover the whole water column with it. You will loose a couple but you should be rewarded with a few chunky fall bass.

I would use a 3-4 inch white grub or swimbait and you will be able to catch booth species. That or a gold Hopkins spoon.

I don't know what Quantum equipment you are buying but I haven't seen an American made Quantum product a decade or more.

Check out the wave worm anaconda. They are close to what you are looking for and they are on sale for dirt cheap at ***.

I actually agree with that statement about the speed craws. Many times the big ol fragile floppy arms of a rage craw are just too much action. But that is just my experience.

Pretty interesting. It might be a little too much drag though, tough to say. Those forward facing tusks might catch a bass' mouth and keep the bait from sliding forward and allowing the hooks to set. But you are sure thinking outside the the box and that is where the truly great ideas come from. I applaud you.
