Bass On The Nest. How To Catch Them.

What milk do you drink
LMAO. You DID make my day! If I had my druthers, Idruther drink whole milk. Unfortunately, my wife insists that we drink 1%. To me, whole milk tastes like milk. Anything else is just flavored water. But then, I'm the kind of guy who will drink Carnation condensed milk from the can if the wife isn't looking.

These Guys Need Some Prayers
Greg, I've fished BIG lakes before so I was aware of the potential dangers on KY lake during high wind conditions. Thanks to you, CJ and Bud, you were able to convey the these dangers to the less experienced road trip attendees. Well Done!

4th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Selecting a site for the next road trip is a very scientific process. We blindfold Glenn, spin him around a couple of times, and then he throws a dart at a map of the U.S. BS aside, trying to select the right venue grows more complicated each year because the number of attendees almost doubles each year. For next year's trip, Glenn has proposed a number of criteria that must be met. For example, there must be a lake nearby. Sorry, I couldn't help it. In reality, there are about thirty criteria that will be used to select the next venue. Obviously some of them carry more importance than others. Again, for example, close access to a marina or boat ramp carries much more importance than close access to boat repair facilities. In short, we are already working on next year's trip; but please be patient. It will take several months. It all starts with an internet search, but in the long run, the most promising sites will be visited personally by a member carrying his check-list.

It's all over folks....
A tempest in a teacup. It's been a slow news week-end, so the media are on this like stink on a turd. By next week-end it will be a non-issue.

Perhaps the funniest moment from the Roadtrip...
I gave up being a wine snob years ago. I found a wine that I really enjoyed and it just happened to come in a box. It was truly amazing how popular a box of wine can become when the road trip is held in a dry county. We went through twenty liters of it. BTW, Kent and I weren't the only ones who sampled the wine ... and that's all I have to say about that.

Bassresource.com fishing t shirts?
BigRick, you are correct. BR used to sell T-shirts and caps, but there was very little demand for them. Word has it that Glenn took a financial bath on that little venture. I was lucky enough to buy a T-shirt and cap (which got blown overboard on the road trip) before there were no more available. As for the T-shirt you see me wearing in my avatar, that was Muddy's idea. He had a couple of dozen printed up, sold them at his cost, and that was it. Again, I was lucky enough to end up with one.

What species do you like catching better.
Jeez, another asinine pole. Unless you are working on a research project what do you hope to learn? If you ARE working on a research project you have omitted many qualifiers. For example, if I live in the South I would prefer to catch LM, because the are no SM. In short, the responses to your poll will be meaningless unless you specify a geographic area.

Free gear from Roadtrip= 09 PB for my DAD!
Ain't it funny how the benefits from our road trips just seem to go on, and on, and on? I love it!

Perhaps the funniest moment from the Roadtrip...
What the heathens didn't know was that I was armed. Had an altercation ensued I would have cut them to shreds with a razor sharp pair of toenail clippers.

Do you own a boat?
It always amazes me when you insecure youngsters start poles. I own two boats. One is so small, it is nothing at all, but the other is large and wins prizes.

Perhaps the funniest moment from the Roadtrip...
I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE! One of the drawbacks of the road trips is that a very nice guy like me is occasionally forced to associate with heathens. It's like being in prison. If you want to survive, you must also act like a heathen. Otherwise, you don't get no respect.

Lake management?
Kenny, if you are not aware of it, one of the foremost pond management experts in the country has just offered his advice. I suggest you pay very close attention to his words. When it comes to pond management, Bob Lusk is THE MAN.
