  1. AnimeOther, it is a scientific fact that the brain of a person your age has not matured to the point that you are capable of the realization that you REALLY CAN DIE OR BECOME PERMANENTLY DISABLED from pulling STUPID stunts like yours. I am so grateful that I am not one of your parents. If you die, they will have lost a beloved son. If you are permanently disabled then you will become a burden on everyone. So if you decide to pull these STUPID stunts, make sure that if you fail, you kill yourself. On the other hand, you could take up any number of other sports that are much less likely to cause you harm, such as bass fishing. Have you tried it lately?
  2. If I were in your position I would gloat also. Go have a ball!

Avid, neither you nor Steve can possibly intimidate me. I happen to enjoy wearing my ballerina costume. I meet some really nice and well dressed guys and their poles are first class. :P
  4. Huh? Russ are you telling the group that you will not be attending? I'm sure I missed you opting-out in an earlier post, but you cannot NOT attend. After all, you started it! If it is a vacation conflict with a co-worker, I have friends with large knuckles and small brains who can arrange to have you placed on the vacation schedule between March 23-28. Muddy, what's it gonna cost me to pull this off?
  5. Muddy, the lost of friends is inevitable. Unless, you go first, the older you get, the more friends you will lose. It's always very saddening but it's a part of life. As for your job, and the pressures on you, I want to tell you two of the rules by which I live my life. 1. This is very important. If you have a situation that concerns you, but you can do NOTHING to help correct it, then stop worrying about it. Life is to short to worry about a problem you can't fix. 2. Regarding your job, I will tell you something I used to tell all of my employees. You owe your employer a days work for a days pay. Nothing more. Your employer owes you a days pay for a days work. Nothing more. Always remember that you work for a company, not an individual. With few exceptions, companies are faceless entities that look at nothing more than the bottom line. They will always strive to get the individual to give more than a days work for a days pay. It is incumbent on every worker to demand more pay when the company demands more work.

Avid, you like to kick puppies, don't you?

OK, I have re-checked the results using the Super-computer at OU. The vote count is as follows: Avid: 462,703 LBH: 12 Hookemdown: 3 As I am independent observer, dully sworn in by placing my right hand on Homer Circle's book, "Bass Wisdom" and swearing that I hardly ever tell a lie, I pronounce Avid MOOK OF THE YEAR.
  8. Whatever floats your boat.
  9. Avid, it is obvious that you and I are taking the same medication. ;D

Steve, that reply cracked me up! Litterally, LMAO. Good One!
  11. Muddy, does your research explain how bass conduct foreplay? I'm speculating that, if you time it right, a large tube, or even a long worm will work wonders on the female. :-/
  12. Avid, that's why I've been nagging you to give up base jumping. You've already screwed up both shoulders from pulling those silly stunts. ;D ;D ;D

Steve P, did you lose some sort of contest to get paired with Avid? Did he or someone else bribe you? How much did Avid pay you to doctor a photo and place his mug into a photo of someone who actually caught fish?
  14. To quote Forest Gump, "Stupid is as Stupid Does."
  15. Huh? I'm sorry, but I don't speak your version of English.

Robert, sorry to disappoint you, but anyone can smell swamp-toe from a hundred yards.
  17. Hi

Welcome to the forum. Lots of nice folks here and lots of information.
  18. Well, I've done a little research, and I learned that when the bass recognized that all those reservoirs were being built, they started buying up all of the prime structure in the lakes. Some of them made a fortune, and now the rich ones take helicopter vacations to the small streams and ponds.

Despite the fact the he is ugly, his feet stink, and he is a pervert, I voted for Avid. ;D ;D ;D

Muddy, why do you not want to appear to be a dummy? It's never bothered you before.
  21. Other, I consider myself an Agnostic. I consider someone saying "Merry Christmas" to me to be a very pleasant experience, and I say "Merry Christmas" often. To me, the Christmas season means a time for family, for giving and for sharing. It holds no religious significance to me, but the coming together of family and friends is special. So, instead of getting ticked off and standing on your soap box, why don't you just accept "Merry Christmas" in the spirit that it is given? i.e. Best wishes to you and yours.
  22. What everyone else said!
  23. What Tbird said: "It's a Mad, Mad Mad World" and "Blazing Saddles" were the first two movies that came to mind when I read the initial post. "Airplane" and "Caddy Shack" also rank very high. "Cat Ballou" deserves an Honorable Mention.
  24. Muddy, that was the longest and most eloquent post that I think you have ever made. The great thing about the human race is that random acts of kindness happen throughout the world with great frequency. The great failing of the human race is that random acts of brutality seem to happen with the same frequency. Our best hope is that you, and others like you throughout this little planet of ours, can make enough of a difference to make this world a better place, one person at a time. Merry Christmas
  25. Redneckriot, you forget that Catt lives in the deep south. In about a month the bass will be in pre-spawn, it they are not already. Catt is going to miss out on some prime fishing time. Catt, Happy Birthday! Ain't it a bitzh gettin old? I hope you feel better soon, but I doubt that will happen. All the best. Mike
