There's a local show called mad fisherman that I occasionally watch because it usually runs before or after Red Sox games. It used to be interesting, now it's mostly doing fancy stuff with Boston sports figures and Chuck Woolery. I don't watch much TV otherwise.

I like the BR videos when I need to learn or re-learn something. They are kinda in the type of format that has been done over and over on TV. I don't mind that but people want something new fast and flashy so the BR videos are overlooked in my opinion. Now eat a hot pocket and showcase your new drone and voila! 100k views!

I'm definitely missing out as all of the ones at DSG must be promo/sample bags with only about 5 baits each and the stickers all say assorted so I don't even know what bait I'm buying.

At my local DSG they are almost always on special for 1$ a pack. At an average of about 20 cents per worm, brush hog, lizard, what have you, you can't go wrong. They are always all mixed up on the hooks so you have to pull them all off there to find something good.

My 8 yr old son kills it with squarebills nowadays but when he started it was nightcrawlers and bobbers. As long as he is catching fish he is happy. For him bigger is better though.

Any specific network or region I might be able to catch it?

When I Google searched the Ned rig and a few other things, I always wound up here. Once I found myself on the main page with the list of threads I realized I had been missing out by only reading the specific threads Google led me to. Haven't had any sizeable amounts of rain up here in Mass either. Some of our ponds are extremely low and all of my local lakes are too.

Bought the 90 in Yellow Head (only color left in 90 at BPS when I got there). Yet to try it but when I was in the store, I could have sworn everyone said the 130 was the troublesome one. Hopefully I can fish it in the next couple of days and report back. ETA: caught 4 dinks in an hour. The biggest blowup was a huge bluegill that took a treble through the eye. I had to use the pliers on every fish due to both trebles digging deep into the fish. It was fun but I would have liked to catch something a little bigger.

Seems all that dudes responses are like that. Tad snooty.

I watch one rod one reel because he usually fishes from the bank and is genuinely excited when he catches every fish. He doesn't come off like a spoiled kid like a few of the other young guys.

Those same songs are the ones that put me on the fish. Funny how that works.
