  1. odd why did it censor that! 1 to 3 feet visibility
  2. i was looking up on the internet about how to fish deep stained water. kept find info on muddy water. i have a place with stained water. shoreline is clear. water visibility is 1 to 3 feet . water deff has a stain to it. its a small pond 11 acres. but its deep 30 feet. ive caught some big fish up shallow. but i think the bigger fish are staying deep.
  3. your drive 2.5 hours for smallies! theres many other better spots much closer! newfound is my top NH smallie spot! i never had much luck for smallies there! lots of perch!
  4. went out to the cape yesterday for some saltwater fishing. we smoked em! caught well over 30 stripers, a 15lbs blue, a whiting and a **** ton of mackerel. we live lined the macks and also fished them dead whole. biggest was 33 inch. i lost a big big fish! it was great day!

  8. the fishery program isnt very good in my state. they usually do the more popular lakes. this is a spring fed pond. that year we had record snow fall in a short amount of time. february-march was brutal. december and january were normal.

  13. im considering fishing it cuz its been few years i think 3. my buddy claimed there was no giants floating. like 4 plus fish but who knows what could of happened to them. ive heard people still fishing it catching some nice fish, but they could just be stories.
  14. south shore pond, between norwell and the cape
  15. so i here in Massachusetts we had a bad winter few years ago, one of my favorite ponds had a die off. i didnt see it first hand but few buddies saw it. bad die off. they said they didnt see any big fish tho. biggest were 3-4lbs. i know theres absolute giants here. how long does it take for fishery to recover. the pond is big. 10 feet deep. weedy. but not matted weeds to choke out the fish. good submereged weeds. water is clear, tons of structure, from deep holes, to logs, stumps and trees to lilly pads and random reed islands with good depth under em. killer fishery. no predators like other game fish. crappies perch sunnies snakes frogs birds and shiners were the food source. the bass were top predators and not competing with other fish like pike muskie waleyes or pickerel
  16. i was fishing a very shallow weedy pond, very healthy fishing tho, lots of food, frogs, birds ,herring and smaller fish. so fishing a spinner bait or anything not weedless or sinks fast wouldnt be ideal
  17. went out saltwater fishing saturday. caught a ton of black sea bass. used a little 4foot light baitcaster. the sea bass fought so hard on it. i was so outmatched. filled up 2 limits. caught some scup and sea robbins to.
  18. i didnt burn it, it was just a regular slow retrieve there is big crappies here, ive caught some big crappies fishing swimbaits. big pickerel to. caught a bullhead catfish on swimbait once, waked slow on top
  19. i did, werent hitting a faster retrieve
  20. thought i waited long enough before setting the hook.i had caught a nice bass on a 9 inch wake bait., they may have not been big bass, could of been crappies.
  21. last night i was fishing with some topwaters. i fished the jackal pompador and mega bass iloud. slow twiched, had many hits but the seem like that werent committing. id set the hook and come up with nothing. didnt feel the weight or anything. why?? suggestions?

  23. thats such a sick idea!! wow!! going to try that with stripers on the 7 inch magnum. maybe even other soft baits to! WOW!!! love it!
  24. yea the hudds are killer i do own an 8inch hudd, i havent used it much, people get huge fish on em. 6inch and 68s are better producers for me.
