  1. yep great spot! ive fished there a few times! last time i caught my PB smallie of 6.9lbs on a topwater! great place big largemouth big smallies. go with a some one who knows the place! its big and you can get lost very easy, every thing looks the same. no houses and only trees. looks like your in northern maine or canada. its beautiful. hills and mountains, all woods. deep clear water. you need to know where to find fish! theres a lot of water out there theres also a ton of regulations about the place so read up on rules and look at the map

  4. good choice on summer in NH, its so awesome! theres so many rivers that have natural water slides up there. native brook trout, bass fishing is better!
  5. back to normal. yea last year was the worst ive ever seen it. but ever thing is good and wet now
  6. nice day dogbone. i went out yesterday. couple of dink fish on jerkbaits. saw alot of surface activity tho. THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER!!! WOOOOOOO
  7. fished all day saturday at the chu, missed one small fish either a trout or salmon. heard of fish being caught tho, mostly on bait! long cold wet day for a skunking but it was worth it. f fished sunday fish 2 ponds, got a late start cuz i was tired from the chu. first pond found fish stacked up. caught about 8 bass missed just as many. they were chewing a blade bait. mix of smallies and largemouth. biggest was a 2.5lbser, they fish fought hard tho. all fat healthy colorful fish. i thought they were bigger when i was reeling them in. missed a few fish that felt like they had some weight. pond 2 long drag in on the yak. only caught 1 bass but missed a few good fish! had 2 big hits on the jig but missed em!
  8. i had luck at a new pond yesterday, been dying here, found a school of perch and bass along a sunny shoreline in shallow water, they were hitting jigs and lipless baits. i was standing on a log kept missin fish cuz my drag was slippin. kept moving along shore. got to a cove on the south end. they were hittin jigs good here to, nothing big but felt good gettin on some decent action. the northern sides of the ponds will be ther warmest

  10. im so jealous! i hope my luck switches over! i havent caught **** all month yea the crowds will be worst on sunday since it will be nice! but im definitely going saturda. im so excited!!

  12. i havent been up there much for april! its always been winter and summer! i wish i had a house up there! squam is for smallies and largemouths! new found all largemouth! theres so many good lakes up there but they are usually big! idk about the water temps! probably upper 40s to low 50s.
  13. yea that area is very long walks, you can get lost very easily. lots of roads out there. to be honest not the best place to hike in alone if you never been. ill be out saturday! going to be very crappy weather! WOOOOO i will be out there all day sun up to sun down, sleeping in my car the night before in a walmart parking lot for like 4 hours! sucks gettin out of work at 11pm friday and living 1.5 hrs away
  14. yea head south for better fishing! squam winnie bunch of lakes down that way. if you want some good smallie action go to newfound but thats a bit of a haul from lincoln. ive been going to lincoln for years now! since i was a kid! i love it up there
  15. lost a large fish on satruday! NOT HAPPY!!! first bass ive had hit in a while! only caught 2 bass all month! sunday all day! got a big gator pickerel! 3.3lbser. lost another good fish and missed another nice pickerel!
  16. im kinda of shocked! crappy month but the chu will open! usually march is one of my favorite months
  17. dude ive been skunked the past few trips! im losing my friggin mind! i need a decent bite. these all day trips for a dink bass or a pickerel need to end. went out night fishing last night after class! tosses some swimbaits. not shocked but i got skunked AGAIN, been stockin up for opening day at the chu. bought a ton of spoons
  18. hit jacobs from the dock area yesterday, had to kill some time before picking my mom up at the bus station. got nothing! jerkbaits and shallow cranks.
  19. went out to RI got a late start cuz of st pattys day. first pond was a bust, access was locked. 2nd pond was a tiny pond water temps at a nice and warm 37. no fish! so we went shore banging at different pond. long walk in. my buddy caught a pickerel. his first fish of the year he was happy. we called it a day. still had few hours before sunset. hit a pond i started fishin last year, lost a friggin GIANT. well i didnt get any fish here either. im loosin my F'n mind! I NEED WARM WEATHER AND A DECENT BITE!!! everytime i go out im lucky if i get a hit! 1 fish all day aint cuttin it!

  21. yes!!! that was my first trip ever. dude you catch tuna! OMG THATS AMAZING!!! ive always wanted to catch one!
  22. you know muskie???? me2, he taught me how to fish that place! the Q is a haul, 2.5 hour drive for me! i never fish the causeway. i fish the main res the most! i love the long walks
  23. i cant wait!!! ill be there! we usually fish the longer walk areas. caught a nice smallie and a laker last opening day. im going to switch up tactics this year and search out for the giant bass and lakers! i have never fished bull rock, only been to the rook once! thats a haul!!!! i dont know where to go yet. but as we get closer ill have my game plan CANT WAIT!!!! I hope it opens on time! im sure it will!
