  1. Talk about resurrecting a thread from the dead! I commented on this *** weeks shy of 18 years ago. Allen
  2. Guess I have not looked at their page for awhile? They use to have like 30 different colors. Allen
  3. I get them too and I usually use them for line or terminal tackle. Allen
  4. St Croix Premier 7' MHM is a great all around crankbait rod. There's no need to spend $400 on a moving bait rod. Allen
  5. Found a gold one with a black back that looks like a 1/2oz. Allen
  6. Painters tape and make sure epoxy doesn't pool up on the bill. Allen
  7. Pearl white Fluke weightless would be my first choice. Allen
  8. How did I miss this thread? Anyway, thanks for posting the information. Allen
  9. This is LPO's suggestive chart for frame sizing. R3 is the most common size frame for most 3/8 to 3/4oz spinnerbaits on the market. Allen
  10. Bought one to try just need to install once I get my boat back. Allen
  11. Where can I get brown or grizzly hair from? Polar bear are endangered so I guess you need a special permit to get it. Allen
  12. Black bear hair jig and a 2.5" tube are what work best for me in the winter for river SM. Allen
  13. 6'10" ML rod I built on a NFC blank is what I have been using for Neds. I use this rod and a 6'8" MXF Avid for DS depending on the situation. Allen
  14. Jackall Drift Fry Mellow Soft Plastic Swimbait - 5.2 Inch — Discount Tackle There is a video in the above link on how to fish the bait. I have had good like the past 2 years fishing this hover stroll whatever you call it technique. While I do have electronics 90% of the fish I catch on this are >5' in clear water. You do not need special jigheads or baits for this either as the best setup for me has been a ball or darter head 1/16oz with a 3-4" drop shot minnow of some kind. The CORE Hover jigheads work but are such a PITA to get straight in the bait I have quit using them. Allen
  15. Tried placing an order lately somewhere else and it wasn't until it calculated shipping that I learned 1/2 of what I ordered was out of stock. I hate when this happens because what I really wanted to order is what's missing. Allen
  16. Guess this technique is suited for the new Winged Fluke Zoom came out with. 4" Winged Fluke - Zoom Bait Company Last count 2 years ago I had 72 hand pour and 84 spincast molds in the garage. Down to about 400lbs of lead so that could limit me.😄 Allen
  17. Why didn't someone post about these 6 months ago? I really could have used something like this for the clear summer river conditions. Guess I will just add another $25 worth of these jigheads to the ever-growing bill of jigheads I have bought lately. Allen
  18. Somewhere in my basement I have a bunch of chatterbaits like the brown one in the upper left corner. Bought them at Sportsmans Liquidators years ago for $0.50 each just to get the blades. Now that you can buy chatterbait blades again they are just part of the stuff I need to get rid of. Allen
  19. What are you going to spend that big check on? Allen
  20. BPS soft plastics were made by Southern Plastics in Eufala, Alabama until SK/Lews bought SP. Allen
  21. There are tons of different trailers on the market. So for the purpose of simplification you need only two. Action: these are the ones that have appendages that flap, swim, and cause commotion in the water. These are what you use in warm water aggressive bite. Subtle: cooler water, non-aggressive bites when a Subtle presentation works best. The trailers in this category are plastic chunks or pork. If you have no idea what to start with I recommend a Zoom Super Chunk that matches the jig color. I have fished this trailer for over 20 years and it has worked in every situation. Allen
  22. Zoom Super Chunk Sr/Jr Berkeley Chigger Craw Double tail grub Latest one has been the Missile Baits one in Fried Watermelon Allen
  23. Let me see what I have if you are looking for any. Anytime I need a deeper diving jerkbait usually in spring. Bait dives deeper than the LC Pointer 78dd that I normally use. Allen
  24. Guess I could bag a Panda and dye the white hair. Allen
  25. I find some of these occasionally at fishing flea markets around here. Allen
