  1. Finally got around to making a master mold of this Shooting star head. Weighs 3/16oz, 2/0 hook, and takes a small weedguard of 7-9 strands. Going to try this for finesse and bear hair jigs. Allen
  2. What weight does everyone use in these? Thinking 3/16oz is going to be the best as most of the sizes are heavier. Allen
  3. I have some baby brush hogs that are soaked in what I am guessing is worm oil. Wash them off along with the bag if it bothers you. Allen
  4. I use whatever baits work no matter where they are made. The JDM baits that excel the most for me are suspending jerkbaits. Allen
  5. FishTrip EWG Worm Hook with Rolling Swivel Snap Offset Hook Swivel Wide Gap for Bass Lure Bait Hook Texas Carolina Rig Saltwater - AliExpress 18 Here is where I found them. Allen
  6. 12 to 18"
  7. Mojo rig, I use it a lot for finesse fishing. Small 3 to 4" worm on 8lb line spinning rod with a 1/8oz weight. Main line is floro and leader is 6 or 8lb mono. Allen
  8. It doesn't matter which one I use as they all don't work equally for me. Allen
  9. Found them on Alixpress, I will try and find the link again.
  10. 5/16oz on 10lb floro is what I use the most. Spinning rod with 8lb floro for 1/8 and 3/16 sometimes. Allen
  11. Sent you a message about these. Allen

They just work sometimes and I don't know why? They work best for me in clear water for SM. Allen
  13. I like them it's the bass that don't lately. Buzzbait, walking bait, and popper are the 3 I always try. Last 2 years they only want the popper. Allen
  14. Living rubber melts which is why they quit using it. Allen
  15. Started making a EWG football head to try for baits like this. Allen
  16. Live Target makes a small frog that I use when I want to downsize. Allen
  17. Black/blue and PB&J just don't work for me around here and I tried. Solid black has out fished everywhere. Now PB&J was a hot color when I was stationed in Missouri. Figured it was because the crayfish there were brown with a purple hue. Around here we have Spiney and Virile crayfish which are brown and GP unless molting. Allen
  18. Quit using them because every piece of grass would catch and stop the blade. I can drag a log attached to a tiny torpedo and the blade will still spin. Allen
  19. For some reason I save most of mine and remelt them. Remelts I usually only make into trailers or senkos become flukes. Figured why waste the baits that will just end up in the landfill. Don't melt down Zman or Berkeley plastics. Other baits are fine as I remember Zoom and Yamamoto all the time Allen
  20. Buying everything in bulk cuts down on the cost. I will pour 100's of jigs at once and bag them. Powder painting is the slowest part since I do like 75 at a time. Need to go through my stuff and sell off the stuff I will never use. Allen

I bought some of those from Alixpress 2 years ago. Allen
  22. That's how I came up with my "Undecided " color. Just mixed the 3 best colors together and rolled with it. Allen
  23. Flipping jigs in solid black, GP or a color I call undecided (22 strands black, 22 strands GP, and 11 strands of dark brown). Finesse jigs - GP, Brown. Watermelon red flake. Swim jigs- shad ( whites and gray) and bluegill Football- solid black, and a starflash skirt from Barlows called crayfish or something like that. Hair jigs- solid black bear hair sometimes with different colored bucktail for accents. Allen
  24. Smallie Beaver 3.5" has been my #1 creature bait for 20 years. Caught so many fish on this bait including a 7.2 LM. Allen
  25. BPS lead ones in GP are what I use most. As many as I lose in the river I couldn't afford to only use tungsten . For places I don't lose a lot of baits I have a bunch of BPS tungsten bullets I bought years ago cheap. Allen
