How many stretch there soft plastics as far as they can despite the bait monkey keeping you well supplied
I disagree that soft plastics are cheaper than hard baits. Not sure about everyone else but I rarely lose any hardbaits? On a good bite I can go through $20+ in flick shake worms in a day. Allen

If they still work as intended I will use them. Otherwise they are thrown on the deck to be reused as something else or melted down for jig trailers. I have way too many soft plastics to be screwing around trying to save a single bait. Allen

Flick shake ??
One of my best presentations for clear water. Cola is my favorite color with watermelon pepper coming in second. Heads are 1/8 or 3/32 which I started making my own. Allen

Buzz bait colors
Around here we have a saying that any color buzzbait works as long as its white. Most of mine are white and black with a couple misc ones thrown into the mix. Allen

Using tin or bismuth?
Search came up empty but I know this was discussed before. Who here has made baits using tin and or bismuth? I have someone that asked me about making some heads using it. All I know about them is they both have a lower melting point than lead. Thanks in advance. Allen

Need help understanding lead blade dynamics on double willows
Such a small blade I doubt that it gets enough water turbulence to spin? Put it closer to the rear blade or use a larger one is my suggestion. Normally I use a blade that's 1/2 or 1 size smaller to keep the harmony of the blades. Allen

Lure maker help
Depends on the bait? Wood you want to seal the bait, paint it, and then clearcoat it last. Allen

Catch & Release Vs. Keep and eat
I tried bass like 25 years ago and did not care for it? The DNR stopped me one day and checked my livewell to see if I had any fish. I told hit no as I like to just catch them. He then asked if I ate fish which I replied Haddock and that I would keep any that I caught in the Upper Potomac River. He laughed and said he gave me permission to keep any and all haddock that I caught. Allen

The Jig Bite - What do you think?
Where I fish jigs I would lose them every cast without a weedguard. What helps my the most is watching the line and weighing the jig as the biggest fish you rarely feel the strike. Allen
