I think what it boils down to is self respect. Roland has none. He'd sell whatever you put in front of him, as long as he's getting a pay check out of it. And I mean, whatever you put in front of him. I think it's pathetic.

Get the Cumara. Fantastic rod for the money, and not as sensitive as the Carrot. The Carrot is more of a crankbait rod anyway.

I don't get involved in other's personal matters, especially clients. I do however, see him in a different light. Its not a good one either. They make the best linguine alla vongole at this place.

So I went to grab some lunch today by myself at this Italian place in town. I walk in, ask for a table for one and am led to my table. It's a fairly popular place, I usually end up running into a few people I know from the local community. Today was no different, but not what I'd expect.... After being seated I get up to go wash my hands in the mens room. On the way there I notice one of my clients, and he notices me. As I get closer to the table, I see the lady sitting across from him and with her back to me is not his wife...but they are holding hands across the table. Mind you they just came into my office a couple weeks ago, and so as far as I could see, everything was cool. They've been clients of mine for a good 7 years now too. I couldn't understand why he had this 'blank' look on his face, but it became clear quickly. I didn't even stop to say hello, as he looked past me when I was approaching. When they finished eating they walked right past me too. Left a really bad feeling in my gut, since I know the wife and kids.

Now that is funny. ;D

I have several of both, love them for different reasons. If I had to pick one (ok maybe three) then I would have to say that the 7'1" Steez, the JDM Wylie, and the 8" Steez flippin stick are on a different level. From the GLX line the 7'11" flippin stick and the 7'5" senko rod are my two favorites. At the moment. If you are into enthusiast rods, may I also suggest you look at Megabass rods as well as the Evergreen Temujin line...

I wanted to take Gidget out to Camanche in a couple weeks, now it seems I can't launch my boat there because of the county I live in. > I have a feeling this issue is going to get worse before it gets better.
