So I just shipped out to Reelmech a brand new Ito Engineering Alpha reel for him to take apart. I am having the housing anodized in the same finish as my Abel pliers and knife. Here is the finish. After I get the housing back, It goes back to Reelmech to be put back together. I will also be adding these parts. ZPI black carbon handle Cork grips I can't wait to get it back! This reel will go on my Steez Harrier rod.

Calcutta's are FANTASTIC reels. I have a 50, 250 and 400. I am very happy with them.

I'm looking at getting a fly rod for bass as well. I'll probably go with a Sage Xi2 890-4 paired with an Abel Super 8. Any opinions on either Sage, Loomis or Abel rods guys?

Zillion is great, but I'd take a $200 Daiwa TDZ 105H over it any day.

I agree Avid, but what crcumstances led up to his rant? When going through divorce I have seen parents use children as leverage against the other parent. Its sad but true. In my business I deal with that quite often.

A college degree is not essential for a better job, but in all honesty, it definitely makes you more marketable. Take my word for it. It will seperate you from the pack. Not only that, but the contacts that you will make in school usually help out as well. Good luck Tipp!
