  1. I really like the R2S glimmer shad spinnerbaits- beautiful and better yet they catch fish-
  2. viscious is indeed economical but it is a nighmare on spinning reels as it is very VERY stiff- works well on casting setups though.
  3. What do ya think about it? Sounds good I want some 1st hand experienced thoughts/report, what do you use it for as well (type of tackle used). http://www.***.com/descpageLNEPLINE-PLCXP.html
  4. These are the same issues I had with the yo-zuri, it is very stiff even the "ultra soft" the regular hybrid is nothing short of cable- I gave it a valient effort and fished 6# up to 12# both hybrid and ultra soft over the summer- I gave the rest of it away. There are much better lines out there IMO. I am going to give the new trilene fluoro a shot-
  5. I think yo-zuri is junk well except for the rattl'n vibe.
  6. So yeah I almost broke down and bought sunline shooter but just couldn't bare spending $40 for 164yrds of it!!!!! http://www.tackletour.com/reviewfluorocarbon2.html So far I really like regular P-Line fluorocarbon- From the information in the link above it sounds as if no one really knows what is better or not. I have been buying by price point "best value" and how well it casts- other than that lets hear it what you have to say?
  7. You will not notice much of a difference between those two baits- they are both 4" and have roughly the same profile-
  8. I never had much success with method cranks on smallmouth- hopefully they work better for you-
  9. Salmon and Steelhead fishing is what got Gary Loomis to begin building rods
  10. smallmouth love LC staysee 90sp's
  11. x2- what? :-/ Huh? What makes that a "good buy"? :-?
  12. I am anxious to see what you do to the Sol-
  13. unless you dip them in liquid nitrogen and smack them against a wall you should be fine
  14. seagar invisx is the best casting flouro I have found- a bit stretchy at times but the castability is excelent-
  15. if you are a non-boater that tourny fishes be courtesy of the boater- I Hate it when I get paired with a guy that brings a bag that is big bulky and could easily be the distribution center for bass pro shops!!! LOL but seriously I have had a guy do this a long along with their 10 fishing rods!!! That being said rule of thumb is no more than 5 rods and enough tackle to fill a back pack- thats how I roll when I am fishing with someone else-
  16. if you are ever so slightly concerned on the price do not buy it- not all jigs are created equal but they are d**n close-
  17. Jackall is one bad *** bait company I must say
  18. I love crank baits own a bunch of them (modestly ), a few of my favs: LC RC 1.5 and 2.5 LC CB 350 Megabass deep X 200t Megabass flap slap- (weighted with storm lead) fishes like a rattle trap luhr jensen speed trap 1/4oz luhr jensen baby hotlips 1/4oz Daiwa TD thin lip Wiggle wart 3/8oz
  19. it is good you want to learn this technique you will deffinately use it- I always have a drop shot on hand
  20. saying how fast your boat goes is like a big you know what contest- who knows til everyone whips them out at the same time and place- J/K elevation has a huge effect on boat speeds- set up is also very important- I have seen a 225HO evenrude stratos 200 go 73 at 2500' elevation- I know because he passed me- my zx250 skeeter with a 300HP VMax is good for 70 fully loaded with gear two full live wells two limits of fish and two passangers- granted the stratos had one person and was not loaded as it was his first maiden voyage in the boat- very impressive tho-
  21. yeppers got mine too- now all I need to do is find where I can buy everything I want cheaper somewhere else LOL.
  22. that E-tec 225 is one animal of a motor- I would get the smaller ranger with the 225 and not the larger one with the 250 IMO.
  23. as long as I am not sponsored I am not married to any one brand- I like to hear input from everyone even the guys "beyond brand loyal"...
