  1. you could always try a white trick worm-
  2. jerk baits so you can reel up the slack faster while you are between jerks. buy a couple LC pointer 100s and tear it up.
  3. they are both great bait companies- never be closed minded especially when it comes to fishing tackle. I really like the LC pointers and staysees, LVs ect. Jackall makes very nice rip baits as well the squirell and squad minnow are outstanding. My favorite jackall bait is the flick shake worm... absolutely deadly anyway you rig it.
  4. I want one and I feel like a red headed step child cause I am left handed :'(
  5. Well your boat is probably big enough to fit that 10ft fly rod in your rod locker- lol I just read your sig- cool boat, in a perfect world I'd run side by side with ya at 80+! Let me know if ya need prop work. I had a ding in mine sent it to an outfit in NorCal and they did a fine job got me 200rpm and 3mph- it looked brand spankin new when I got it from UPS.
  6. I have the scorpion 1001mg which is the japanese model of the US Chronarch MG- great reel casts light baits with ease.
  7. I have some BPS rods- I must admit I HATE THE POWER HUMP!!! I don't like the feeling of the handle after using a traditional non-hump grip
  8. sprayed chomper scent on my soft baits a couple years ago- yuck and I now think it is worthless. Cruel and unusual punishment is what that crap is! My dad and fishing partner loves the stuff- I hold my breath when they bust it out!
  9. I swear this really happened to me last summer, I was getting my limit of smallmouth out of the live well and when I reached in for them one jumped up and bit my thumb- didn't hurt I just busted up laughing- my co-angler didn't see it but laughed to- I have never heard of this happening and probably never will experience it again- I would have never brought this up but this thread was my calling!
  10. you can't go wrong with the eakins jig-
  11. the higher the IM the more dense the blank material- improved sensitivity. Not sure about being more light weight tho as the IM increases?
  12. I really like the RC 1.5 and 2.5
  13. I had a pair and sent them back as soon as I got them in the mail- they were way too light/weight and felt as if they would fly off my face when speeding along in my boat- seriously they were like a feather. Do what I did save a little extra $ and get polarized half jackets bronze lenses are good for about all conditions. The arms on the half jackets were much more sturdy and have rubber to keep them on your dome.
  14. weird I absolutely love the hook keeper wish all my rods were the kistler type keeper-
  15. what happened? Id imagine the reel moved in the seat- mine did it to- all I did was put a 1/2" piece of e-tape on the reel and it is now perfect. Some reels are a bit loose in the seat-
  16. I love mine great rod- it rivals rods costing twice as much- very light and sensitive.
  17. dang I would be a bit weary on how he is shipping it???? Oh well if you got 1500 bucks to blow on a collectable I guess its all good- LOL
  18. Anywone know anything about this particular reel? I see where I can buy one for around $100.00 I love my other Daiwa spinning reels. This thing is loaded with good Daiwa innovations. thanx in advance
  19. Hi end- What, What, MEGATRON is definately in the house!!!!
  20. Oh Oh I can play too- this is my favorite reel!!!!!! ;D Shimano Scorpion mg 1001
  21. Kistler magnesium 6'9" MH all purpose- great rod- not my most or least expensive but the best. Paired with my shimano scorpion mg reel simply amazing to fish with. Makes some of my other combos feel like I am holding old CB antennas over the side of the boat LOL.
  22. Kistler mg MH 6'10" for my open water jigging 1/4oz to 1/2oz. THE most sensitive rod I own I have GLX's as well.
  23. oh and RW will also say Yo-Zuri hybrid fishing line- ultra soft for spinning reels of course
  24. seems gimicky to me... I am just hoping that this thread dosent flare up another scent/attractant debate!
