  1. Those look goodddddddd.?
  2. @Bluebasser86good time with those wipers, too bad my lake only got LMB. Iwanna go catch some strippers at DVL, but don't have nobody to share the boat rental with me.
  3. Husky Jerk 08 all the way. It catch big and small fish.
  4. Look good but if you change the weight to foot ball swinging jig, you might get more action when drag.
  5. Do you have any Zman stuffz at all? If you don't wanna mezz up with Zman Elaztech where cannot be mix with other plastic then go with Roboworm. A guy in my lake caught a almost 8lbs with Roboworm Ned worm on Ned rig not too long ago. With Roboworm, you got a whole lot of color to choose from and don't have to worry at the end of the day. Me? No I have plenty of Zinkerz, TRD and Big TRD, and like they said "it it ain't broke don't fix it" I'll stay with ZmanZzzz.
  6. defenitely awesome. I'm a self taught bass fisherman and Hank is one of the reason I turn into bass fishing.
  7. Congrats man, now you have stock of all lures right at hand.
  8. @NYWayfarerIf you cannot fish jerkbait, try Soft plastic jerkbait.
  9. Just checking, what would you get and why? Both brand new, Lowe would be 10-15% higher with Mercury 115hp but Suntracker got more features with 90hp.
  10. I have Stohlquist EBB, I like it, fit pretty good and comfortable enough for me to wear 3-4 hours a time. Austinkayak got that on sale for 69.99 and you can get 15% off when signup. Now I only fish in the morning on kayak and I don't stay long in water. If you don't have any threat of jet ski, speed boat or high river flow that can flip your yak and comfortable is main concerned , you should check auto inflatable type. Cabelas always have their on sale for less than 100.
  11. I have used snap on everything, Fluke, Jig, fat Ika, Wacky, chatterbait you name it, especially when bank fish where I only bring one rod/reel with me. I know some techniques without snap would be better but I'm too lazy to tie and look for all terminal tackle for new lures. I alway bring some pre-rig where I can just switch between each lure with ease. If I go out on a boat with 4-5 rods, I'll avoid using snap on any slow presentation but use snap with faster moving and know that I'll change lure later. P-line duo is pretty good but now I fall in love with tactical power angler clip, it a lot easier to switch lure than duo snap or even mustad fast tach clip. here my recent catch swinging jig with tactical clip.
  12. Since you lure gonna be moving, any loop knot should work or dropper knot. The top one I normally use light jig head like marabou jig or 1/32 jig head to keep it flowing. I only drift for crappies once and and that setup I used. I didn't fish as deep as you so don't count on me.
  13. I'm following this thread, but have a suggestion, how about two of 1/16 oz jig head about 1-2' apart? You can only do 2 jig one bottoms one suspended, or do like drop shot by having a heavier weight on bottom to get you down deep.
  14. I tried underspin with swimming Fluke a few times with no luck and this Lake is very well known for effectiveness of underspin. I do have keitech impact 4.8" reg version and 3 others knockoff in different size 2.5" 4" and 5 something. where the most bite you guys get? When burning it back, slow on bottom or mid retrieve?
  15. I do the same as @Choporoz, I do minor maintenance my casting reels, that include re-oil bearing as needed, re-lube worm gear as needed, clean old grease and re-grease gears, drag and components once a year. Every few yrs I'll send to mike at DVT for totally cleaning. for spinning reel, I'd send to DVT for any internal cleaning. Last time I opened up my spinning reel, i lost the d**n tiny spring for anti-reverse clutch. I swear to myself not to open any spinning again.lol BTW I just sent mike 2 reels for totally cleaning.
  16. What do you think effective of paddle swimbait in strained water visibility 1-2 feet? I know it works but at what percentage compare to clear water or other type lures. how fast do you think work better, fast, moderate or slow claw along the bottom. You wont believe me if I told you, I have not caught one fish on this type of lure. I did caught on something else that swim through, like yesterday I caught a 2 lber on swinging jig with Shad shape worm while swimming it back to almost at the surface.
  17. Last time I saw this type of bass behavior, the bass almost kill itself from swallowing other fish. I even had a hard time trying to remove the crappies from its mouth. The crappies was still alive and swam away.
  18. Not really, in my email just last week for warranty on Ateos from Fenwick, they give me option to ship to either US location or Canada, but on my own dime.
  19. I'm lucky that I live on a lake with loaded of 4-5 lbs bass. I think the most successful for me last year would be chatterbait. I like to fish around weed or lay down. Most of the hit come when chatterbait start bumping something.
  20. I think that locking up/binding problem most occurs when the reel get soak in water. I have symetre the gen before they stop production but so far no problem(cross my finger).
  21. None worm would be, Fluke for me anything from tiny Fluke to super fluke(deep water). Another type that was pretty good is grub. I can shake or slow drag with this. I've tried a lot of hooks for dropshot but for bank fishing or around cover I like Gamakatsu #2 EWG hook and roboworm rebarb #1.
  22. I have Sahara 750 with spare spool, don't know if I wanna sell this but have not used it for years.
  23. Just keep pressing on power on/off button. This button act as brightness control.
  24. Yes and no, I really wanna upgrade the Elite 4x on my Jon boat but it is hard to explain to the wife why. I fish kayak the same water as my Jon boat and normally hug to shore line so I might not even need one for kayak.
