Some of yall may have seen photos in the latest catch pics thread but this video captures the essence of my favorite stretch of water to fish. I do have somewhere between 100-200 bites from seed ticks on my legs but that’s a first for me, still worth it ! You have to put whatever you want to fish with in your pockets and swim for it, also lots of wading and falling down on slick jagged rocks

As yall may have already guessed, I have never had a fish break my spinnerbait. Broke one on the trolling motor once

Ft myers is good inshore saltwater fishing

Heck I’d probably eat a donut off the ground but richy creme seems to be widely accepted as the best. Duck donuts is also a good one

I live in Knoxville, your possibilities are endless for SMB. Smallmouth are the most common fish in just about any water here

The sequatchie is also a good one for kayak also I never use a ned or elaztech , I’m just a rebel I guess 😂

Gosh where to start?? wheeler and Wilson dams are where some monster SMB like to live. Ive never fished elk river but id bet your standard fare of grubs tubes jigs poppers and small cranks would wear them out. I really do well in small waters with marabou jigs and of course plastic worms. Dale hollow is amazing, lots of deep clear water full of baitfish and bass, if fishes best in winter and there are tons of kayaks . Tims ford might be a good one to look into as well

He certainly could, but it would have to jump over a dam and swim several miles up a creek to find it…….. I actually used a live rock bass for bait in a deep pool yesterday for 3-4 casts, then I released it because we had to keep walking /swimming

Went joyriding with the wife today along some crazy mountain road neither of us had ever been on, luckily it ended up just above a dam where I had been before and I got to stop and fish. Tossed a fluke and saw some small bass and one large one. They chased but wouldn’t hit it. Went back to the car and grabbed a senko , got it fairly quick blind casting with 50 lb seaguar tactix and a 4/0 gamakatsu nano alpha round bend hook also got a rock bass in a different spot in a small creek, picture just for @gimruis. Missed/spooked many smallmouth in the creek also saw a cool waterfall that was fairly dried up

Wish I would have gotten some measurements/weight on that one! I had just mounted a 24” 8 lb from TX the year before and I guessed that fish about the same so we just got a pic and let it go. Now when I see the pics I’m thinking doggone it looks bigger 😂 thing pulled like dump truck
