  1. Yours is a 100% accurate statement . His was 100% made up doesn’t get any more black and white than that
  2. Electrical on a boat should cost more in time and sweat and getting into hard to reach places than it does money. Sure you may have to buy some things but if you’re like me you’ll drop the flashlight where you can’t reach it, drill a hole in the wrong spot, and probably cut your finger but you’ll only spend $40 bucks or so
  3. Haven’t had a skunk for several years??? You doing alright 😂
  4. 😂 😂 😂 There are 12s in Cayuga
  5. Screw Disney land , this is smallmouth heaven
  6. They smashing them as always
  7. Nice bass! We can launch in middle of nowhere in desolate darkness but lake/pond/bogs don’t exist naturally in the entire state of TN. But I plan on doing something similar in a creek/river this weekend or next sans the canoe, gotta do a swim/wade where I’m going land is too steep for water to sit still, it rolls downhill
  8. No worries @A-Jay, when they went to boat flip it the spool would come off because their drags are so loose
  9. Or like me, the prop life at 23 mph 😂 granted my trucks clutch crapped the bed so it’s canoe life for now
  10. The amount of 5 pounders is ridiculous. Saw mark daniels from the other tour had a video on YT from st Lawrence and he said there were a ton of fish under 2 lbs as well , the future is bright up there
  11. Chris Johnston reeling in what he calls a baby and it’s stripping drag off his reel like a kingfish . Never understood using no stretch line then loosening your drag to the yellow perch setting 😂 conversely JT thompkins boated a whale and just winched it straight in
  12. Seems like it has come up before, maybe try the magnifying glass icon and see if anything pops up . I’ll check it here in a few myself. Currently sweating my arse off and hunting my ice water
  13. Those actually are giants if you’re in the greater Knoxville area
  14. Did you notice it was radio silence when cliff prince won on wheeler fishing the old ways? And same with Laughron jig and frog fishing for the win on Champlain? Not a coincidence, only speaks negatively then complains when called whiney. All part of the bit
  15. It was also the day after a hurricane, a sailboat was sloshed onto land at the takeoff
  16. They typically have a 20 minute log segment on fizzing, I can cite it word for word from memory haha. granted st Lawrence River has had more BASS tourneys than about anywhere in America for the last 25+ yrs straight and the smallmouth bass just keep getting bigger, I’d have to say whatever they are doing is working
  17. One is more than enough for me
  18. I feel the pain The throw out bearing on my clutch crapped the bed on my truck last night, luckily we kept the ole Honda with 300,000+ miles I can’t pull a boat for a while but I can toss a canoe on the Honda
  19. I do well shallow in summer, deep in winter (SMB)
  20. Ask any tourney trail director in America and they will tell you scheduling is by far the hardest part of it. Have a northern tourney in spring or fall and weather will ruin it. Then you have all the other trails to not schedule on top of, you’ll never make everyone happy
  21. I can’t read a spinning map, some can’t read an north up map
  22. They can put what they are seeing at the trolling motor on a console unit very easily so the back seater isn’t casting blind. My buddy does that for me when I’m in the back of his boat. I watch the scope for about 2 minutes and realize I have no clue what I’m looking at then go back to fishing like it’s 1994 again 😂 he’s like “look at those fish! You see them??” And my reply is usually “it’s the TN river, been there 400 million years. Safe to assume it’s full of fish” haha
  23. The bait monkey approves this message
