  1. The amount of 5 pounders is ridiculous. Saw mark daniels from the other tour had a video on YT from st Lawrence and he said there were a ton of fish under 2 lbs as well , the future is bright up there
  2. Chris Johnston reeling in what he calls a baby and it’s stripping drag off his reel like a kingfish . Never understood using no stretch line then loosening your drag to the yellow perch setting 😂 conversely JT thompkins boated a whale and just winched it straight in
  3. Seems like it has come up before, maybe try the magnifying glass icon and see if anything pops up . I’ll check it here in a few myself. Currently sweating my arse off and hunting my ice water
  4. Those actually are giants if you’re in the greater Knoxville area
  5. Did you notice it was radio silence when cliff prince won on wheeler fishing the old ways? And same with Laughron jig and frog fishing for the win on Champlain? Not a coincidence, only speaks negatively then complains when called whiney. All part of the bit
  6. It was also the day after a hurricane, a sailboat was sloshed onto land at the takeoff
  7. They typically have a 20 minute log segment on fizzing, I can cite it word for word from memory haha. granted st Lawrence River has had more BASS tourneys than about anywhere in America for the last 25+ yrs straight and the smallmouth bass just keep getting bigger, I’d have to say whatever they are doing is working
  8. One is more than enough for me
  9. I feel the pain The throw out bearing on my clutch crapped the bed on my truck last night, luckily we kept the ole Honda with 300,000+ miles I can’t pull a boat for a while but I can toss a canoe on the Honda
  10. I do well shallow in summer, deep in winter (SMB)
  11. Ask any tourney trail director in America and they will tell you scheduling is by far the hardest part of it. Have a northern tourney in spring or fall and weather will ruin it. Then you have all the other trails to not schedule on top of, you’ll never make everyone happy
  12. I can’t read a spinning map, some can’t read an north up map
  13. They can put what they are seeing at the trolling motor on a console unit very easily so the back seater isn’t casting blind. My buddy does that for me when I’m in the back of his boat. I watch the scope for about 2 minutes and realize I have no clue what I’m looking at then go back to fishing like it’s 1994 again 😂 he’s like “look at those fish! You see them??” And my reply is usually “it’s the TN river, been there 400 million years. Safe to assume it’s full of fish” haha
  14. The bait monkey approves this message
  15. Wait a minute, wasn’t taku scoping a crab or was it fuzzy dice?? 😂
  16. Excellent breakdown by Alex, we know he watched them all
  17. Ah, gotcha . I’d say bout half n half so far on the FFS. Didn’t play much at wheeler and everyone said of St. John’s “back to old school fishing” Smith and Toledo were heavy on the FFS, fork had some of both. Champlain had lots of froggin and jiggin, didn’t watch a lot of Harris chain
  18. Not really, they only have 9 tournaments and 54 yr olds have won 2 haha. Then you’ve got Cory Johnston Patrick walters and taku. The youngest winner would be McKinney, not sure how old John garret is but he’s definitely young. Kyoya is probably around 25. Seems to be 5-3 with veterans having the advantage
  19. Second 54 yr old to win this year i thought “kids” dominated the tourney trails with their vidya games ??! 😂
  20. That tech all sounds cool and might work one day but the underwater world is still a mystery as of today. There are several aquatic species still being discovered. There are a whole bunch of top level live scopers that catch catfish on their jighead/minnows 😂
  21. Harbaugh does pretty well stealing signs 😂
  22. @Tennessee Boy, if we had to watch them fish the way I do, they would be standing on the rocks below a dam breaking off jigheads and cast nets 😂
  23. Had a couple hours free from mowing this afternoon, got a nice gar in the tiny kayak. Took it to shore to figure out how to unhook it and luckily it unhooked itself after dragging my rod/reel back into the water the first time I beached it
  24. Robert Gee is amazing, can’t fathom his being from Knoxville!
  25. Robertson got 20 lbs, pays to fish near toothy critters
