The time has come for the 2024 Fantasy Fishing season to begin. For those unfamiliar, we have been doing this for a few years now as a fun way to compete and have a little fun among all our members. Do you think you have what it takes to take home 1st place for the season?

We encourage all members to play along. Just pick your anglers prior to each BASS Elite event and share them (or don't) with the group. It's all part of the fun!

I'm more excited for the opener of Toledo Bend in FEB. as any sporting event I can remember.   It's going to be epic, a century belt will be awarded, a DD or two will be caught, and big Glides will be showcased.  How can you not love that stuff.

My lineup:

Welcher -  Best Bass angler on the planet right now imho

Milliken -  Won the Toledo Bend Open last year and understands big baits and                            Gizzard FLGM than anybody on the series

Mckinney - 19yr old prodigy and scope genie

Sumrall - Local and all around good guy

Davis Jr. - One of hotter anglers going into the event

I'm in.  Thanks for the invite.

Has anyone tried to pick their Drain The Lake teams yet? I've got my FF team  picked OK, but I see that I can't pick DTL.

They just dont have it going yet,

I'm in again. Did great last year on the southern half, trashed it up in the northern swing.

Friendly bump.

35 days to make your picks. We've got 20 guys signed up so far. Lets try to double that number.

I made my picks for Toledo Bend in just over 2 weeks.

Its obvious that people are taking to Miliken.  He has a whopping 37% picked in that group.  The other person who has a large share of picks in a specific grouping is Zaldain.

I saw Ben just caught a 13 pounder down in Texas. It's going to be exciting to see what he can do on tour this year.

If Milliken only had to fish for deep South Gizzard eating pure Floridas, he'd win AOY, Classic, and 9 events 😆

He'll be leading AOY after the first two events, but I think he'll finish outside the top 20th at the end of the season which is still awesome, and Classic qualified.

I look at the Elites this year, and it's incredible.  The younger guys are seemingly on another level, to me that's the biggest story line going into the year.

This McKinney fellow has 4 top tens in 9 events. That is outstanding , plus a second place at Toledo Bend.

I think forward facing sonar has totally changed the way everything operates these days. History on a lake almost means nothing now.

@fishballer06 I think history will always play a small roll. Take Scott Martin's recent win in the opens. He knows that lake better than most and new exactly where those big females will stage.

Home field advantage will always play into it a little 😉 I do agree that ffs has changed everything. Joey Cifuentes win on a dropshot @Seminole this past year, Tyler Rivets win on Okeechobee are both prime examples

1 more day to sign up and make picks before event #1 kicks off. Who is everyone's pick to win this thing?

I'm going for Patrick Walters to win but I decided not to put him in any lineups. 🤔

Good Luck to everyone this season.
