  1. I think I’ve got one for ya these two pics are the same fish on the same day. I brought it back to camp to eat it and my wife and her friend decided to let it go because it was pretty. Then they ate 6 more and said “I wish we hadn’t let that one go, these are delicious “ 😂 bass can change their leopard spots in minutes, maybe seconds
  2. The price ain’t that bad. Everyone that fishes tournaments here has dual power poles and literally never uses them, I’d guess both those cost more than live and a 250 hp costs about 15 times as much as the sonar I’ve seen zero evidence of this you can troll for crappie with unlimited rods in TN and someone recently broke the world record.
  3. They are the worst on tomatoes! Mostly bite them once and leave the rest laying there
  4. Hahahahahaha. Yeah til it removes your eyebrows no kiddin tho my buddy Ben poured some gas on a fire and burned the heck out of his torso around the belt line, like bad hospital burn
  5. @Junger, dude! We have a small bar called union jacks that I used to go to in college that had anchor steam in bottles, it was so dam good ! I remember peeling the label off and putting it in my back pocket so I wouldn’t forget what it was (pre smart phones haha) seems like it was brewed in San Francisco?
  6. 5 second rule, bean is still edible unless there’s dog hair on it…….
  7. Hot dogs but that’s not really strange, I like them myself i did know some guys growing up that would walk onto a golf course and tie a length of line to the red stakes marking the water hazard. They baited their lines with duck turds because they were readily available around the pond. They caught fish years later in college my phD fisheries professor said that catfish wouldn’t eat poop no matter what you heard. It was at this moment I confirmed the education system was a farce 😂
  8. Thanks for that, absolutely hilarious
  9. I ain’t buying it. I’ve known people my whole life that stand on the bank, catch their limit of crappie, take them home, then come back and catch another limit. Then do that a few more times 😂 and that’s just the people that would openly tell you about it crappie fishing really isn’t that hard for people that are good at it. I am not one of those people
  10. Had to run down to the lakehouse and cut the grass yesterday, as well as pick my boat up from my moms house (I left it there Saturday because my truck was overheating when I was driving thru her city) after I got done with the grass , it was blistering hot. Perfect gar fishing conditions. So I chased several gar and missed the one we call the white whale, it appears to be 50 inches. Then I missed the white whales green cousin who was nearly as big, looked like shark snapping repeatedly at my jerkbait. It was about time to go home and I don’t like getting skunked so I fished a plastic worm on the way back to my dock and caught two bass. I recall @A-Jay saying 81 was the warmest water he had caught SMB so I snapped a pic of one with the depth finder temp showing 88 at the console. Then got another tiny LM casting to the neighbors swim ladder (for some reason there are always fish on the ladders at docks). then after getting home and looking at photos, I think the smallmouth I caught was actually a meanmouth
  11. @NorcalBassin, I’ll take the one on the right any day! I had some of California’s finest beverage yesterday
  12. Hahaha! You went above and beyond my skillset, I kill yellow jackets by pouring gas down in the hole. Not sure what I would do with a nest in the boat, maybe spray them repeatedly from a long way off
  13. I would rather be on water than dry land. I always enjoy every second floating in various vessels, swimming, wading, etc. Not because I’m tired of catching 700 fish, I just like the water. My late pal capt Kenny nicknamed me Waterdog
  14. Flukes are amazing
  15. @AlabamaSpothunter, doesn’t say much for the people that have been using the tech 5 years and can’t climb the standings……
  16. Sometimes effective strategy but dinks grow into trophies with every dam being unique, every reservoir is a case study
  17. Glad I drove around thru Bloomington instead
  18. Wow, that’s a rapid recovery! Here’s hoping for more of this positive trajectory in the coming weeks
  19. Nice one! Bet that was a good fight
  20. Screw fall I’m ready for winter. Just push mowed for three hours straight in a heat advisory and it will need done again in less than a week. And that’s just one out of five of the yards I mow
  21. @gimruis, well that’s good because I couldn’t remember if we ate that one or not 😂 the pic of the stringer sure looked like all pike but I didn’t even think about Muskie just based on the size
  22. Yes but these bass that jumped into the kayak were much smaller than a spinnerbait . And for the record I CAN catch one on a spinnerbait, it’s just like one per year
  23. @MIbassyaker, beats me ! 😂
  24. Ever start has always worked well for me
  25. Ole Bo was happy we returned from vacation
