Baitcasters are easier than spinning reels. If you fish out of canoes and kayaks and wade fish like me, there’s a lot of gunk in there haha. I’ve even found some tiny rocks inside

I keep bags of zoom dead ringers in the pockets of all my pants and jackets…….. never know when you might need one

This guy went by me within 10-15 feet this evening, he gave a wide berth on the return trip down river (in the photo). He was so close the first time I didn’t want to take a pic haha

Wacky rig seems like a huge lure to me, I’m the opposite end of the spectrum

If you do, separate the tail from the body before using, it’s extremely loud. I think all rage baits have this feature with appendages
