  1. I still use the stren clear blue fluorescent, I believe they just slap a BPS excel label on it now. Put the 12 lb on a baitcaster and you are set, it would take a might strong bass to break it. I’ve hauled 20 lb stripers in with it, in raging current below a dam
  2. I had to do aquatic plant ID in college and it was a nightmare. It’s much easier to just ask @Team9nine what you are looking at
  3. @Woody B, there is one sure fire way to tell if a fish is full of eggs, the rest is just semantics
  4. Monster ! Our 21-22” SMB are even lighter but every now and then one is fat . Those long lean ones fight like the devil
  5. @T-Billy, she made a pie a few years ago and she didn’t like it because “it tasted like pawpaws” 😂. I got to eat the whole pie tho so no sweat off my back.
  6. The only thing memorable I’ve had happen with a spinner bait is hitting my dad on the top of the head with one circa 1990
  7. Unfortunately I don’t got this haha. Been at it since ‘87
  8. My wife made pawpaw ice cream , it was good !
  9. Ok well then I’ll just stay home 😂
  10. I’m good at frying spotted bass if you need help and I’m always hungry
  11. I can’t offer any advice but your screen name is awesome!
  12. Some of yall may have seen photos in the latest catch pics thread but this video captures the essence of my favorite stretch of water to fish. I do have somewhere between 100-200 bites from seed ticks on my legs but that’s a first for me, still worth it ! You have to put whatever you want to fish with in your pockets and swim for it, also lots of wading and falling down on slick jagged rocks
  13. As yall may have already guessed, I have never had a fish break my spinnerbait. Broke one on the trolling motor once
  14. Ft myers is good inshore saltwater fishing
  15. Heck I’d probably eat a donut off the ground but richy creme seems to be widely accepted as the best. Duck donuts is also a good one
  16. Mrs @Bluebasser86 always catches the SMB
  17. @Smirak, no need to buy gas but I do accept donuts!
  18. Sounds like we need to all just jump in the boat and go fishin
  19. Go bungles!!! He’s done it before a time or 2
  20. I live in Knoxville, your possibilities are endless for SMB. Smallmouth are the most common fish in just about any water here
  21. The sequatchie is also a good one for kayak also I never use a ned or elaztech , I’m just a rebel I guess 😂
