Pretty ironic considering nobody acts more scared of invasive species than California wash and dry your boat for 35 days before fishing another lake while we trade exotic fish with Alabama

I’m surprised they need clean water because the nasty ole TN river is full of bugs . This time of year I have to scrape my sunglasses off with a pocket knife and usually eat a few hundred per boat ride

Wonder why nobody in California is worried about these fish? They seem to love them out there

I’ve never witnessed much damage, they stock rainbow trout annd striped bass everywhere. There’s good money to be made from fear, just ask a silver carp

Some dude on chickamauga ticked off enough people to get in trouble a few years ago. He had some offshore monster boat capable of like 50 mph. I mean this thing was as big as a dozen wake boats. He would just tear up and down the river and slosh un holy amounts of water and injured 3-4 people. He is a doctor and was awaiting federal trail for some shady stuff in 2021 the boat is a Pershing 74, one bass boat clocked it at 58 mph

@Tennessee BoyIf we are paying someone to manage the river, I want my money back. I didn’t stock any fish I eat them. Like someone posted above, pandora is out the box. Rules don’t matter no one stocks more invasive species than DNR. They don’t care about anything except getting money from your pocket to theirs

If you weed thru the mumbo jumbo of that video, you hear that the only lake they have flourished in TN is parksville and the fishing went from bad to great. The Alabama bass has pretty much turned the ocoee river into a good fishery where it was traditionally terrible and polluted from copper mines

I’m bout to paddle my wife’s 90 lb kayak this evening, the boat is wonderful but its a hernia waiting to happen haha

We have lots of loons and in recent years, mountain lions have made their way to TN. I’d rather hear a loon 100% of the time haha

The wake rule is now in effect in TN but same problem as always, nobody cares to write the tickets and people don’t care when they get the tickets

All the studies I looked at in college had 60+% gut contents of waterfowl for bald eagles. I’ve seen them catch live fish several times, but I have seen one eating a dead raccoon on the side of the road too

Hollywood always plays a red tail hawk scream when they show an eagle but here’s what it actually sounds like. When I hear that, I know I’m in a good spot to kill and eat some fish

Some of them fly from here to there i saw 3 while driving my work route Friday and another this morning. I’ve never seen one when I wasn’t in complete awe
