  1. @ol'crickety, check out this little feller’s stripes. I’m still trying to steal the @IcatchDinks moniker
  2. Nice!!! Congrats!! love how the check says biggins haha
  3. I know the solution after seeing the pics! Just quit weedeating for a few years along the bank until you’ve got a hickory tree growing right there to winch with ?
  4. Cut the line and give it the popper hahaha holy cow
  5. Downtown triple crown, all 3 species in the same spot as I was trying to get this photo of my canoe…… I noticed on one attempt when I had the flash on, a bat or tiny UFO whizzed by me…….. more likely a big bug or light reflecting but those aren’t nearly as cool of a story huh
  6. They are kind of the same here because the river and the lake are one and the same . We got plenty of river fish pushing 5 lbs but they can avoid capture for long stretches , I usually bump into maybe 3-4 a year
  7. I doubt they are KY spots
  8. I know a guy that is an ice climbing instructor out west, his fav shirt is a cotton T .
  9. They gotta blame something other than themselves
  10. Well , since every lake in America isn’t lake Norman, let’s take a look at Toledo bend. It’s loaded with spots and produced 125 double digit LM bass last spring. And that’s just the ones reported
  11. I can’t wait for some cold!!! I just layer up cotton. All my buddies tell me I can’t do that or I’ll freeze up and die. Then I’m still fishing when they are inside by the fire with their “performance” gear
  12. ?. Give me a break !
  13. Had to load 29 Friday night……. Got tired these metal bar style trailers are pretty awesome and take a licking and keep on ticking, I’ve climbed all over them . Wouldn’t quite recommend the top rack but it’s there if you need it
  14. What people run most on the white river is a big long rectangular jet boat with big oars and locks, kind of wide open most of the hull. They look fiberglass. my wife’s uncle used to rent aluminum jon boats with 9.9 hp and run up once the generation water arrived
  15. Whoa! That looks like a glide bait without hooks that has caught some fish thru the years
  16. I’d say best youll find is canoeing with ol crickety
  17. That might happen but I’ll go ahead and bet against it. They’ve been here a long time especially nickajack. I think it’s ignorant to assume that what happened in lake Norman will automatically happen everywhere else. Also Alabama bass get bout 7 lbs in parksville lake , that’s more than 3 Believe me, I’ve probably killed more spotted bass than anyone except @GreenPig. It’s not that I’m rooting for the spread , just not concerned in the least. Because there’s no reason to be
  18. Drop shot….. sorry couldn’t resist I also like a 3 inch tiny fluke on jig head, spoon, tube, and Carolina rig
  19. Here’s a case study from my area https://www.researchgate.net/publication/254304876_Angler_Conflicts_in_Fisheries_Management_A_Case_Study_of_the_Striped_Bass_Controversy_at_Norris_Reservoir_Tennessee
  20. @Blue Raider Bob, that’s a fluke style bait by bio spawn, it has great action. Lots of followers and small ones chewing on it like a dog bone
