  1. Nice smallies have been fairly cooperative
  2. Skunk trapping is what I do for a living haha. You handle skunks very carefully with no sudden moves. It helps to wrap the traps with a tarp prior to setting them . Then slowly every so gently cover the entire thing with a towel so they can’t see you . Once they can’t see they calm way way way down, I drive all over town with them in my truck nearly every weekday
  3. Sneaky……… Im not exactly sure if it’s foam but they make a body to fit the skin. Silence of the lambs style……..
  4. That’s why they call it a skin mount. The delicious white flaky meat is not included on your wall, like i posted earlier you can eat a fish and still mount it. They substitute a foam body and use the fish’s skin for the mount. Gonna be covered in flies and a little stinky if you used real meat on the wall
  5. Thanks for the report, use a flashlight in the dark…….. don’t blame your wife that sure won’t help
  6. 40° can’t get here soon enough, it’s hot. Been sweating non stop since 7:15
  7. I’ll tell ya what I do, fish for food and fun instead of money.
  8. Negative ghost rider! I like grapes but not wine haha
  9. Sure you can, the meat doesn’t go into the mount
  10. Yes sir! Just got done eating it with the 2 catfish mmmmm. I caught a similar sized shellcracker in the morning but I let it go, didn’t know I was going to luck into the cats
  11. I’m no help here! Yuk
  12. It was a fast fish! I was alone in the boat today but there were 7,400 yachts and pontoons again haha. Pretty leaves and 80 degree sunshine will do it, still seeing 65-67 degree water
  13. Got 5-6 smallmouth, 2 shellcrackers, 2 channel catfish, a bluegill, and I think that’s it. Sorry @ol'cricketyi still can’t keep track even though I only catch 1/4 as many as you do hahaha. I even tried today. I could see all my toes in 80 degree weather and still couldn’t count that high
  14. I thought about it but that messes with my dock fishing
  15. I got a lot of leaves yet to move…….
  16. Don’t run it wide open and you’ll be fine. Get up to wide open then back off a touch
  17. As long as you post in the section where your state is listed, seems like it won’t matter
  18. Beats me, and I always thought Michigan was in the Midwest
  19. I don’t see how you leapfrog that one team with a tree nut for a mascot
