  1. Paddled my wife’s kayak around the dock in the morning, caught a spotted bass. Then me and my buddy drove the canoe upriver in the afternoon and went up a creek, caught some little bass. Came back out near the main channel and skipjack were going wild on the surface, he even caught a small striper. Then I got a walleye in the middle of the main channel

  4. It seems to me the bedded fish are more challenging to catch than a regular fish, but i haven’t tried much
  5. I rarely ever see any such activity so I always try to get a photo or video. I can count on half of one hand how many I’ve seen on a bed and caught. I can only recall 2ish
  6. @herder , I guess I’m riding dirt or a rock. Funny thing is, still works just as well as it always has
  7. Surely there’s a photo
  8. It’s been working, didn’t wanna mess up my hot streak 😂
  9. Saw several bass spawning around my dock today, something the book says they should have done 3 months ago. I’d guess the water temp is in the mid 80s right there, we are back in a creek arm that is always warmer than the main channel. You can see the bigger bass to the right of the lighter bottom area and two other ones rush in a few seconds later. If you’re wondering, I did throw a jointed glide/swim bait over there and it followed it and stared . Then I tried a plastic worm and it bolted away so I quit trying after two casts 😂 I also saw another bass on the left side of the dock that was bigger, maybe 3 lbs, that chased my worm a bit but wouldn’t eat it
  10. You need some cotton in your life ! Nice catches
  11. You’re one of them !
  12. had a fun Sunday. Went down to the dock and caught a shellcracker and a bass before even jumping into the kayak. Then caught some more LM and two catfish before 10 am. After that , we met up with some friends and paddled the canoe up a creek way up lake, caught a SMB
  13. You got that right! They are quite a handful on board any vessel, especially a kayak 😂. They have unlimited fury
  14. I conducted an impromptu leader test on a couple toothy dinosaurs last night…… The ole classic red label was up to the task
