They have gills nets on chickamauga, but not a thousand of them. It also happens to produce the biggest bass in the area. I’m not sure about FL and TX laws. Many have reported giant bass in the gill nets and many have gotten props tangled in them. They aren’t allowed to stretch a net across the entire creek channel but the current washes them all over the place.

I guess I’m both stubborn and stupid. I can’t fish effectively with a spinnerbait. I’ve tried for over 30 years. If I ain’t picked up on it by now, I don’t think it’s happening. I’ve been in the boat plenty of times when other people were catching with spinnerbait. I’ve switched to it, and then they caught WAY MORE fish than me. At least if I stick with a worm, I get a fish or two. If I switch to spinnerbait I get zero. Moral of the story : JUST BECAUSE IT WORKS FOR SOMEONE ELSE, THAT DOESNT MEAN IT AUTOMATICALLY WORKS FOR ME OR YOU nowadays if someone is slaying them with a spinnerbait, I just say congrats instead of tying one on. It’s no use! A futile losing effort
