  1. Yea I did that without looking . Couldn’t do it while looking , had to go by feel
  2. That’s rough man! I’m not sure what to tell ya, maybe stick with a certain lure, like a shakey head, for longer instead of the kitchen sink? They have to eat a some point, unfortunately it could be that they only eat about once a week!
  3. I made the wife happy today! She had a headlight go out and against all odds (and general clumsiness) I replaced the bulb. Then after I took the photo I replaced the driver side too since I bought a two pack………
  4. Took me a while to find that flying squirrel hole !!
  5. I do whatever she says. Or at least pretend to
  6. Stomping the banana is what brought good fortune monster fish!
  7. You’d be surprised at how well they work without those extra parts hahaha
  8. I usually do absolutely nothing with a tube. Got two on back to back casts with one over the weekend i have also tossed them into smallies busting shad on top and reeled them in rapidly and caught them. But mostly I just let them tumble in current or sink into 100 feet of water in slow moving reservoirs
  9. The good thing about a river is you are probably going to be close to land. Don’t get out into the shipping lane! Haha. I was in a canoe and got dragged out in front of an oncoming barge by a striper once, the back paddle effort was fierce.
  10. Preach it !!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Now you sound like a real weather man! When I was at my in-laws house recently, they watch the news every morning including the weather. The local Toledo meteorologist did a year in review of 2021. By the time it was over they made the claim that it was the hottest coldest wettest driest year on the books
  12. I wish I could say that but I would have to guard it 24/7. Pretty high foot traffic in my neck of the woods, I’m on a street corner near very popular mountain bike trails. Lots of cyclists, dog walkers, and kids waiting on the bus. I have told some kids not to ramp their bicycles off my retaining wall a few times, but I’m gone 10 hours a day or more. I would imagine 20 or 30 people walk right along my curb daily
  13. My work F150 only takes 6 quarts, I can usually do it for a little over $20
  14. Shoot. My yard is also a school bus stop haha. It gets plenty of foot traffic
  15. That’s cool!! One of my fishing buddies followed his dream and plays in a bluegrass band. I can’t remember my dreams after I wake up hahaha
  16. Im with you. If for whatever reason I have to paddle in winter, I stay within a cast of dry land
  17. Yes and some tributary highland reservoirs also. They are pictured in the “latest catch pics thread” some of our smaller streams are pretty well frozen but the Highland Reservoir‘s are still about 50° water temperature
  18. Glad you’re still after em!! They’ve been biting like sharks this winter for us
  19. Is it……. Behind…… the rabbit???
  20. You been looking into my truck again?
