Safest is a basement or storm shelter underground. Tornados are scary but not nearly as scary as the highway (i probably shouldn’t have said that, one is predicted today). I’ve been to quitman once but I was camping on fork and fishing , didn’t go into town. Seemed like a very small town

I can’t quite recall which fish were biggest but I think I got at least 2 21.5” smallmouth. One was with a cotton Cordell spoon in late January and one was with a zoom finesse worm on a jig head sometime in the fall. Might have got a couple more that size in summer , probably with a similar worm

I did know a cow pond growing up that produced some DD largemouth, but biggest I got there was 6. I have absolutely no clue why that pond was better than the rest

An 8 is a lifetime size fish for big rivers/reservoirs . An 8 bank walking a pond is wild!!!!!!. We barely even have ponds and the ones we do have are mostly tons of 11 inch bass fighting over the worm

Panfish have never struck me as something requiring special equipment. Some of them best pan fishermen I’ve seen use cane poles

Well, I don’t have any weights so I did some push-ups today. Unfortunately ate about 64 pounds of food too. My wife made me a breakfast burrito that must have weighed more than a Mexican largemouth bass, sausage and rice for lunch, then chicken and rice for supper. I think eating better is going to be my only hope , and it starts……. probably never I haven’t been to work in a week and a day and I can tell, nowhere to go nothing to do
