  1. I see people fishing the golf course on edisto, they are usually set up in chairs chilling. I always try the salt when I’m down there though
  2. I found this inside a hollow log yesterday
  3. That’s how I roll. My problem is I have 4,732 bags of plastic worms haha
  4. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire . Nice work sniffing out the caller, I probably would have fallen for that. My bank always calls instantly when something weird happens
  5. I’m with @A-Jayon this one, I camp out on good spots all the time. I know the fish are there, eventually they get hungry. Maybe it’s a smallmouth thing ? I don’t know
  6. I think that’s the same situation we have, I might have mistyped . I was just saying they don’t have to give us access, but they do. With license dollars etc…. they blocked access to one of our lakes during dam repair / drawdown and by golly they meant it. Posted up 24/7. If they want to keep us off the water they can quickly and easily
  7. Haha yep! Don’t need waypoints either, I can get there by smell
  8. Every boat ramp I’ve ever used (in my entire life) is public, and I launch a boat probably over 200 days a year game and fish doesn’t have to build or maintain those. And game and fish wouldn’t exist without hunters and fishermen
  9. Just let me know what time to meet you at the launch after you make the purchase. Thanks
  10. Didn’t need any of this, couldn’t help it. Bait monkey pulled my truck over and demanded I spend $21. I’ve been wanting to try underspins for years, seems pretty cool so far but no bites yet. I’ve been dragging them on bottom and they seem fairly weedless somehow
  11. Fish still eat plastisol, in fact I have been finding they like it better after several years of the ned craze
  12. Hahahaha. That reminds me of a dam I grew up bank fishing. One day somebody was already on my favorite rock to stand on. I said to my buddy “oh no, somebody is in our spot!” He replied “don’t worry, they don’t know how to *^%#* fish.” And sure enough they didn’t. Once they left I got onto my favorite rock and started slaying now every time I see somebody where I want to fish, I can hear his voice in the back of my mind say “don’t worry, then don’t know how to **%€£ fish”
  13. Yeah as you might imagine, I don’t have to shovel much. But back 8-9 years ago we had a good bit and I was in a log cabin with a long steep gravel driveway, maybe 1/4 mile. I decided to clear it, should have just walked to the store haha
  14. Last time I broke down on the side of the road with truck and boat, I lost count after the tenth person pulled over and tried to help. Lots of good sportsmen still out there on the water
  15. I’ve put a whooping on the ned boys plenty of times, and they’ve got me a few times. There are plenty of days where they won’t eat certain baits, even the almighty half worm My buddy is obsessed with which jighead makes the TRD stand up. He tired tons, couldn’t figure it out. Then he took an 8 pack of TRD and put them into the sink with no hook, half floated half sank
  16. I don’t even have to watch it, the bank is far more vigilant than I am. They catch it.
  17. There’s smallies over 4 below chickamauga dam if you can take the truck a little further. You don’t get many but getting one big one happens pretty regular. If you make it to watts bar dam it’s on like donkey kong
  18. Funny thing about hunters and fishermen, they like to hunt and fish. Therefore they fight for, and fund, opportunities to do so successfully. When participating numbers start dwindling, so do the opportunities. Just look at hunting today, not many places to go because people fewer people fight for the right to hunt. Why? Because there are less people that hunt. Let the PETA crowd take over and see what happens less fishermen, less funding will go to the DNR that provides you access to waters for example: if they said tomorrow that fishing was banned, you would have lots of fishermen show up and protest. What if you were the only one that showed up to protest?
