Good honest mechanic
Don’t you love them?? My coworker has been telling me about this place for years. It changed hands and then moved locations, but still awesome service. I dropped my truck off today (e brake won’t hold) around 2:45 and they said they would look at it tomorrow. They called back today at 4:15 and said come pick it up, $61 with tax. I think I’ll give them at least $75 haha

What's the average strike ratio?
Have you tried shutting the machine off and see if they bite better afterwards? I feel like the answer to the question is species dependent. White bass bite like sharks, black bass ignore lures

Winter struggle.
@Mr. Aquarium, get some damiki armor shad in 3 inch and put them on a jighead. I tried it for the first time this winter and it’s caught fish every time. Zoom tiny fluke also works but sinks a little faster so use lighter head with it oh yes and gulp minnow is similar, used it for years in the cold

Bass and Carp
They are from across the ocean, I wouldn’t put them in the necessary category

Bass and Carp
I been tossing small plastic craws my whole life! I can get 30-50 smallies in a day sometimes, zero carp ever. Smallies bite carp don’t haha. Almond joy has nuts mounds don’t

What Size and Type Treble Hooks for Upgrading Crankbaits?
I watched a video recently about this from elite series angler Kyle welcher. I didn’t realize you could install a treble incorrectly until watching that

Spinnerbaits for Smallies
I got a bunch of nice smallies burning a spinner bait the same day I saw half a dozen big foot riding a herd of unicorn been skunked ever since

You've heard of "Elf on a Shelf"...
I think you could get one approaching 50” with your determination down here. Most TN fishermen ain’t going fishing if it’s below 40 degrees and 99.9% definitely ain’t going if it’s that cold with the wind blowing. You could have them all to yourself a lot of the time

You've heard of "Elf on a Shelf"...
I’m surrounded by them but never really tried to catch one for more than a couple minutes. Come on down, I can point you toward them!

Josh Jones at it again

Latest Catch Pics Thread
The temperature was supposedly 42 but it kept getting windier and maybe colder. I talked the wife into going , at first she was loving it driving the boat. Then it was pretty darn cold and she was using a dog for warmth and flipping me the bird with mittens on so we called it.

I am suprised how efficiently you Kayak anglers can fit everything into your hull.
I’ve had it happen in fresh water from snapping turtles and river otters. The otters took the whole darn thing, snappers always leave me the fish heads. I failed to ask either group of critters what their nourishment level was

My Safari browser has slowed up in the last few days (but it may just be my DSL service)
I cleared mine once, had to re enter a bunch of passwords .
