  1. Is wishful thinking a good enough reason? Haha
  2. Why doesn’t Alabama leave the SEC ? Wouldn’t that be nice…….
  3. Eh, it’s always been that way. TN usually plays an sec schedule plus someone like Oklahoma, oregon, UCLA, etc. The problem is we don’t win. Beating themselves up though the regular season has worked out pretty well for the top SEC teams the last 20 years
  4. It’s looking like Oklahoma and Texas are joining the Southeastern conference, maybe now Tennessee will get to play against all their players from last year that Transferred to Oklahoma haha
  5. A better question is when not to throw one
  6. Cool! Good luck to them, keep us posted. It’s a zoo down there
  7. There’s never been a drought in this jungle . Hot, humid, ticks, mosquitos, all the normal things. Can’t wait for winter but I like long daylight
  8. Chickamauga or chickahominy?
  9. Excellent problem to face
  10. I know a “couple two three” car guys that can find anything
  11. Just make sure your dads neighbor has nicer stuff than you and no worries!!! I just always try to make it to where the moron attempting to steal anything would have to take a lot of time and make a lot of noise in order to steal something, I imagine they wouldn’t like that. Sometimes it’s just parking or arranging stuff in the way of the boat. Locks are good but thieves are good and defeating them as well. A heavy chain in combination with a lock might be pretty good, if nothing else fiddling with the chain is going to make a ton of noise and hopefully alert someone. Setting up a doghouse with a Rottweiler by the dock would be ideal………
  12. That shouldn’t take but about half an hour! A lot of folks fly fish for smallies There’s a good many spotted bass in pickwick, you might get two birds with one stone there
  13. Nice! You could measure the rod in the picture and get somewhat of a length estimate
  14. I’ve dabbled but I think I’m better off using the stuff you mentioned
  15. Reminds me of pinky from the Friday movies “I got a girlfriend and a wife on the side”
  16. At least 3 if you count mothers in law……..
  17. I’ve looked at the bottom contour/navionics so much of all the lakes and rivers near me, I can see the maps when I close my eyes and go to bed. I will be fishing up front with no depth finder and my buddy will be in the back watching the screen and say “how deep you think it is?” I’m usually within 2 feet without looking at the graph just from experience and map study
  18. One of these days…………. I hope to quit traveling for good and just fish around home ! unfortunately this is unrealistic when you have women in your life
  19. Why would anyone do this in the first place?
  20. I always keep those in my tacklebox also. And they always spill all over my tacklebox
  21. Sheesh! That’s crowded. I saw a similar scene on the anchor river with salmon. never broken your line since then? Not even in a tree??
  22. From a casual observer, it seems like fluorocarbon just likes to break in a variety of situations
  23. That looks like a clinch knot……… on steroids……… then that clinch knot on steroids mated with another clinch knot on steroids and that’s their offspring. Needless to say I don’t think it’ll break!
  24. I remember the first time I heard that sound, I thought there were howler monkeys in my neighborhood
  25. Ha! Not if you heard the noises some of the combos make
