Where you and I fish, rigging it with open hook is quite problematic haha. Any weedless option is good, I can only swim the open hook setup off the bottom

I think it’s arkies, I got some similar big bite baits ones as well. That’s the tail portion of a trick worm, I can’t mentally, or sometimes physically, pay full price for half worms (TRDs). I just find ripped ones on the floor of the boat

Fishing from a kayak is good anywhere in the US, I take one anytime I have to travel. There too much water in East Tennessee for one person to explore in a lifetime. I had a customer last week that knows every detail about all the water in all the caves in the southeast, pretty wild! (For the record I do not recommend fishing underground.....)

I’ve been conducting my first few Johnson spoon experiments recently. Those things have a wild action! Academy sports brand (h20 express) has a similar spoon with a sharper hook, although I haven’t thrown it yet
