A lot of times they live on with the hook in them and in some cases pass it . If you’ve got them hooked deep in the goozle, sometimes it’s better to cut the line than to get the hook out. Being underwater the hook will rust away

Smaller tube jigs always work way better than big ones in my area. Kind of led me to believe they eat small ones more often . If you are trying to catch crawdads, night time is always best . Washing camp dishes always brought thousands out of the wood work

I’ve dissected that map in my mind so much ....... when I saw it on the screen of my phone it almost scared me hahaha. @NavyVet1204, check out Dustin Connell on YouTube, he’s from a bit north of there but has plenty of videos on how to catch coosa river spots and largemouth. I camp on the Alabama river every year for a week on Memorial Day, have for about 22 years straight

I’ve launched several into orbit! When I was a youngster I would tie big lures on 6 lb line and spinning gear. Some of my plugs should be hanging out on the international space station. It’s amazing how far they go without the line attached
