  1. Hahaha, they certainly aren’t picky
  2. That exact tactic catches the heck out of smallmouth bass as well, including the world record. But we all know old records are fake anyway.......
  3. Hahah, the proper name of garbage can panda bears. The 64,000 dollar question is: why did they name a fishing pole after a raccoon?
  4. “Procyon” also happens to be the genus of raccoon, aka procyon lotor.
  5. I have airplane rivets in my 1957 aluminum........ they won’t drill out or punch out. They sure as heck don’t leak but I can’t replace the wood in the transom haha. Two hours with angle grinder and titanium drill bit and we never got the first one out
  6. Are you...... me? Wha?? That bait seems right up your alley for shallow pitching. I use it for smallies in roaring current up against the bank on a heavy Texas rig, they chomp it. Judging by your videos, you like a skirted jig or yum bug better?
  7. Congrats!!!
  8. I rarely catch the limits of bass you are seeking but I love fishing away from the bank. Then again it sounds like the creek arms of our lakes are bigger than your entire bodies of water so you have limited options/choices. Also we have reservoirs with steep drops that are easy to find. One tournament angler that I watch on YouTube fishes natural lakes up north and he stays offshore most of the time. He mentions rock spines and weed edges in every single video so I assume those are key areas on natural lakes. I would try to find the steepest drop you can offshore and work it thoroughly with a feel bait like a Carolina rig. My best days offshore are when I can find a random log on a steep drop off
  9. Ha! Yes time will heal the bass populations but it has the opposite effect on you and me!
  10. There’s not a whole lot of timber in my area so I fish all of it. Down in Alabama I fish cypress stumps
  11. Weightless worm, watch the line as it sinks
  12. If it’s not sold at a store near me, I don’t need it
  13. Drought and flood are mother nature’s population control, time will heal it
  14. Yeee haw!!
  15. I fish the entirety of every bluff I go by, not just the ends. Fish like them!!
  16. Oh gosh that’s two wrongs bahaha we are having a sunny event in East TN today.....
  17. When I go to bite the tag end of my line off a strike king bitsy tube, I get a little salt in my mouth. Delicious! It makes me really want French fries though......
  18. I get excited and call my friends when I kill fish! Who’s bringing taters???
  19. Ornery as they may be, I can still win a hand to hand combat battle with one 100% of the time.......
  20. If it ain’t a truck I don’t want it
  21. That’s wild! But one of my pet peeves is when people use the word “event” when referring to weather!!! Hahaha. I just call it crazy weather....... we had a couple similar hail storms (or should I call them hail events??) recently
  22. Can’t get it all into one picture That tackle store owner has you right where he wants you
  23. I’ve never paid over $40 for a reel and they all work well. If they break I fix them, they really aren’t complicated
