  1. Sounds like a white bass party!
  2. In the Cherokee elite series event of 2019 (freezing temps in February), I imagine almost zero of the competitors used braided line . This year they are coming in may and there might be a few people using it for some reason but I doubt it
  3. I’ve tried both in clear water and saw the fish laughing
  4. Sorry I have nothing. Never even laid eyes on it
  5. +2. If it didn't we would all fish 100 lb braid
  6. Boooooo....... I still play it!!!
  7. I live close to 2 DSG (one has fishing stuff one doesn't), academy sports, too many wal marts to count, two locations of a mom and pop store called c and c outdoors, edgemoor outdoors, McKee outdoors, 4 live bait/tackle stores near 4 different dams and probably some I'm forgetting and some I've never heard of. Brick and mortar is alive and well in East Tennessee. I think about the only thing I've bought from the internet is replacement worm gears for my round Abu Garcias and some vibrating jigs from @Bluebasser86 (that flat out catch em)
  8. I was tossing a rapala husky jerk off the bank the other day. The nose was pointing slightly down but it was suspending perfectly for as long as you would leave it there .
  9. You are tougher than I am...... That's no place for a basshead
  10. Very sorry to read about your son Tom, all of us here on BR wish you and the family all the best going forward. Life isn't fair but we have your back
  11. @Chris244, Most excellent work. I need your services...........
  12. I wish I had read this stuff all those years ago hahaha. I always used the fiberglass resin and made one heck of a mess!!!
  13. Do you not own a bucket?? Haha
  14. Wow thats awesome. Let me guess, it rains a lot in Vilas county
  15. If meanmouth counts, then all waters in TN have 4 species of black bass (well all waters larger than a cow pond). I watched somebody fishing a tournament on lake Travis that was on a school of thousands of 1 lb bass, it was pretty wild. He kept showing the graph and it was almost blacked out with them
  16. Zoom finesse worm, zoom dead ringer, and any Small paddle tail Bait are my favorites for drop shot, although I’m fairly new to the technique . If your lake had zero leeches for thousands of years and all of a sudden a leech fell out of the sky into the water, a bass would eat it anyway.
  17. I would bet that was probably touted as a big win for “conservation” back then
  18. I was on your lake all weekend, I always get a kick out of seeing the vintage ski boats in different yards on the way into pt 19 and Anderson co Park
  19. Well the thought of crashing through it haha
  20. Zoom trick worms don’t float but I have a lot of hand poured trick worms that do. They both catch a lot of fish, drop shot shakey head Texas rig wacky rig, even jig or chatterbait trailers, it’s good for all of it
