  1. My mom has had a few minor events and now she can’t have nearly the amount of sodium she grew up cooking with. You should see her angry stare when she shows me the tiny salt shaker the doctor recommended for her haha
  2. I wouldn’t bet against mahomes and chiefs but I will be rooting against them Sunday at 3.
  3. I rarely eat breakfast and on weekends I’m usually standing there with my foot on a trolling motor pedal for most of the day and I typically don’t take any food. I’m going to try eating every 3 hours (if I can afford it $) and see if I notice some positive changes. I Already had a granola and chocolate milk for breakfast Today (although I did pull my work van into a gas station to purchase it )..... Thanks for the inspiration A-Jay. I usually just drink a few cups of black coffee for breakfast. I’ve kind of been the same body shape since 8th grade, 6’1” and somewhere between 180 and 200. Not obese but I’ve always carried around some extra and always eat whatever I see. And apparently I go way too long without seeing food a couple times a week. Now that I think about all my skinny friends are eating constantly
  4. Use that same 2&3/4 inch with 1/8oz for lake fishing. I always use it for smallies too and the largemouth love it, especially around docks
  5. There’s a lot you don’t know about the undetected.......
  6. I don’t mind exercise but shopping and meal prep sounds like a real nightmare haha. My meal prep is gathering white bass and getting the grease hot...... maybe I should try grilling them more often. We did that Monday and it was tasty
  7. I just watched some BPT and....... well nevermind I didn’t watch
  8. Congrats @Russ E!!!
  9. Of course it runs on gas and takes maintenance. Never said anything about any of that, I have 5 kayaks I’m not against you. I just know which craft I can go fishing in quicker as I go after work several times a week year round and use all types
  10. I’m probably not the best guy to answer that as I use clear mono....... my best answer is practice practice practice. That being said I’m sure you could sell ANYTHING to fishermen that claims to help strike detection (whether it actually does or not )
  11. I thought all worms were purple.......
  12. I've bought outboards for less
  13. I would try maybe a golf course pond or get the heck out of ATL
  14. I just backup to mine, attach coupler, safety chains, and lights and off to the river. Much easier than putting my kayak into the bed of the truck (I do both frequently)
  15. Could you repeat the question ?
  16. @pauldconyers My buddy's grandpa (who taught me most of what I know about fishing) lives near Simmons and has gotten me several items and reels rebuilt there over the years. He always spoke very fondly of Mr Sullivan that worked there
  17. I have 2 motor boats and 5 kayaks and one canoe...... No need to limit yourself to one style. I can hook up to and launch my boat quicker than a kayak. several of my best fishing holes are impossible to get to with paddle craft. Also a few of my best spots require a paddle craft
  18. I remembered I had received a $50 gift card to academy! Spent $47 on this stuff, the KVD deep jerkbait came highly recommended by @A-Jay.
  19. Because humans tend to panic and intervene, typically making things worse. Like introducing kudzu to control erosion, turns out it only contributes to the problem
  20. Hat bills shall be curved regardless of age (world dunce police code 42a, section 7)
  21. I also fish with romines. I just texted him a screenshot of this convo haha.
  22. There are lake trout in the western US that humans have tried to wipe out in a few areas with gill nets. There are still lake trout thriving there
  23. I spoke with shaw on the phone once. I had a guide trip and the clients were hunting buddies with him so I did my best shaw impression while driving the truck ("catchin' big ole piiiiiigs"). They all started dying laughing, called him, and said "hey shaw, there's a kid up here in TN that does a better shaw grigsby than you do!" and promptly shoved the phone up to my face and told me to do the impression again. Luckily I nailed it and shaw laughed!
  24. Gloom and doom from bass fishermen is their greatest threat
