  1. I’m guessing Cotten cordell floating jerkbait. That or Ozark trail brand
  2. That’s what I was ever so gently doing when he cut loose. Needless to say those towels and trap are airing out in the woods behind the shop until further notice. We wrap our skunk traps with a tarp before we ever set them also but this skunk climbed into a big wide open raccoon trap
  3. No need to apologize! It’s pretty funny every time and makes for good stories. Caught one today in the same spot that is A much calmer and more friendly passenger
  4. Indeed. Work van still pretty stinky today
  5. Well I catch the silly little things for a living so I was kind of asking for it...... it was in a big trap intended for raccoon so he had plenty of room to jump around and get nervous
  6. The people that complain only have to walk from their house to their car and from their car into Hardees
  7. I drag it across the top in such a way that a fish would never dream of striking it
  8. Gophers for playoff champs! But my Vols do actually look improved, it was looking rough early
  9. By a skunk. Bluuuuhhh. @roadwarrior, hit me with an “eyes burning” Gif???
  10. If we had that weather, there would be no milk available in the entire state
  11. at least y’all have something to complain about! The locals here are literally freaking out about the polar vortex pictured above
  12. Are there other people fishing the spots that you have tried?
  13. Cotton cordell, baitcast or spinning will work. Buy ones you don’t mind losing
  14. Well I don’t buy any fishing lure over ten dollars and usually none over 5 so take that into consideration. H20 express TWS is my favorite , unless I can find Zara puppy in the clearance bins for $1. Which happens at wal mart fairly often
  15. I’ve never encountered a pond with smallmouth so this may not help much. Around here in shallow flowing rivers/rapids they like top waters to be sitting still and they hit them somewhat gently (weird, I know). A lot of guys can catch trophies drifting deer hair bugs with fly rods. They will still hit things like buzzbaits but dead of summer they apparently like bugs sitting still. In lakes I like walking baits as fast as you can walk them. Not sure why but they like it fast in still water and still in fast water
  16. I like a 6’6” broom handle for ratte traps
  17. I’ve had that happen to me before so that really hit home. Luckily my bosses are cool and had my back like his did. Kind of sounds like MLF is trying to squash out criticism instead of listening and learning
  18. I need sputter fuss/sputter bug blades! Somebody already bought them all haha
  19. That should work great as long as you are throwing it and not me! Just how cold of water will they eat that in?

I’m in no danger of wasting away, I keep a layer of flour tortilla formed insulation around my midsection........ I’m also capable of obtaining food and water without stores or electricity. If for some reason I’m unable, I have lots of friends. It was only two generations ago in my family when nobody had anything and they did fine
  21. Good to hear from ya!
  22. There’s pure gas available all around my house thank goodness.
