Life changing decision
I’m the same way and was when we pulled our son from private school three weeks into this school year. He wanted to and my wife did too but I didn’t. I was a nervous wreck for him but he absolutely loved it and made friends really quick. He’s actually grown from the change. The OP did say it’s only ten minutes away so his kids would still have their friends just not see them every day at school. They’re big into sports too so I’m assuming they probably know kids from the potential new school which was the case with our son.

Some local boys just brought back some powerfully good memories
We finished moving to our new house last night and 6poundbass spent a couple hours sorting through his fishing gear and loading it into his new fishing backpack he bought a couple months ago and off he went with our nephew down the street to the end of our cul de sac to the river to explore the new waters. They didn’t catch anything. Their trip was cut short though due to the bugs. Like a lot of you it took me back to his age, my friends and I riding our bikes to the local lake to go fishing. I wish they had fishing backpacks back then like they do now. His holds four trays, has a ton of pockets, and holds two poles. Back in our days it was one hand holding a tackle box and another holding the pole, and you just figure out how to hold the handle bars too. ?

Life changing decision
Boy do you ever have a decision to make. It sounds like a win win either way from the outside looking in. The best of luck to you no matter what decision you make. You are one helluva coach so I think you know the right decision.

We’re finally in the new house, so it’s time for a new beer! One of those two statements is correct. ?

I saw this new pop up yesterday. Glad to see he’s still making music. In my opinion one of the most under rated voices in country music.

What do you think of Bass Tracker boats?
I have an Edge 45 on my G3 175 and I always have it on 4. On windy days 5 works just fine. You’ll be plenty happy with it.

What’s on the menu this morning, walleye or smallies?- Said Farewell to Tucker today ~
Yup my wife still is overcome with sadness over Charlie who as you know we had to let go in February. As I type this I look over at Hank who’s a large breed and they do get the short end of the stick and while he’s still playful he’s slowing down. With any luck he’ll be around for a few more years.- Said Farewell to Tucker today ~
Sorry to hear this AJ, super tough.- Ray Scott has passed away
RIP to a true pioneer.- How much money have you spent on your fishing addiction?
Not enough apparently, still can’t catch them! ?- Mowing...hate it or love it
Not a huge fan of it but after I get going I’m fine with it and love the end result!- Post a photo a day!
That trench box looks pretty stout, I wouldn’t have an issue with it. Interesting you brought that up because just last Friday there were two guys killed at a house in my area when their trench collapsed on them. The head scratcher about it was one of them was a first responder so you would’ve thought he knew better.- Post a photo a day!

Yup it’s pretty cool the things they can do with those directional drill rigs. How they can put quite the bend in their bore shot, they can go with the cure of the road without coming up and resetting is pretty amazing. I’ve seen the small rigs that can only do about 250 feet at a time to specialized rigs that are on a semi trailer that can do over 1000 feet at a time! The bore head that pokes out of the ground is $5000 alone. I always say those bore rigs are the best utility locator in the business, because they will find anything in the ground and destroy it. Lol I had a 3/8” gas line one time I located years ago and a bore rig found it. They had from here to China to miss it but that bore rig found it! I saw another one pull back conduit and it had about 300 feet of parking lot wire from a car dealership it had found on it’s way back. ? I could go on forever with the stories.- Rate the song above you
I just found this guy the other day. The original song is good but this guy took it to a whole new level IMHO. @roadwarrior you’re an old school country guy, what do you think?- Catch & Release Vs. Keep and eat
Clearly she’s been in Tennessee far too long! Road trip for walleye! ? - Post a photo a day!
