I think we have short memories by design in order to survive the winter! Lol Once it gets hot and humid we wish for cooler weather because we forgot how cold the winters are. After mid January (for me anyways) I wish for warmer weather forgetting how hot and humid summer is. ?

I did this with one of my frog rod years ago after I shut it in the tailgate.

I’m not afraid to say that my wife’s LM PB is 5-8. Yup she’s got me beat!

My Michigan PB’s are a 5-4 largemouth and a 3-8 smallmouth. My goals are a 6 pound green and a 5 pound brown.

Maybe I have the record. I’m going on about 9 months now! It’s been so long now I don’t remember how I got it but it’s a nasty one. Gave it a good 10 minutes on the lake then grabbed another rod. Got home tried again. Loading the boat up the night before the next trip and so on with no luck. Here we are 9 months later and I’m going to get that SOB eventually! Usually I just give up and break out the scissors but I’m going to beat this one.

The perks of having a dad who’s retired but likes to keep busy, and who has over 40 years of interior finish work under his belt. He got this wall done for us today and he and his friend are painting tomorrow. Hopefully in less than two weeks we’ll be moved in.

While we do have open water down here I’m getting very annoyed with the temps only getting up to the upper 30’s low 40’s. The few days it’s been ‘warm’ it’s extremely windy and rain. We’re looking at warmer temperatures this week, but of course very windy and rain. ?
