Buffalo had a few head scratchers this year but they’re playing pretty tough right now.

I’m in the same age range as you and I’ve been doing the same thing. I’ve been with my with going on 17 years now and we sometimes have the “remember when” conversations. We’ve been through a ton, you could just about name it and we’ve been through it. A lot of our problems were self induced and I’d say maturity (or lack there of) had a lot to do with it. We always made the best of the situations we were in. We hit a stride a few years ago and things have been firing on all cylinders and it’s been nice. We always like to look back at those times to keep us grounded and moving forward. If I had the chance to you couldn’t pay me to go back to that age range or times. I like where I’m at and I’m glad (most of the time) I’m getting older.

I have it both places but if I could only have it one place it would be at the helm for sure.

I picked up a newer model not sure if it’s a Blackmax might be a Redmax (it’s mostly red) and has Winn grips. It’s a very nice spinning combo.

Abu Blackmax is a pretty good setup. I’ve had good luck with Kastking reels, their rods…not so much.

We’ve looked all over around here in Michigan and it’s nowhere to be found. It should be sold all over the place.

Appreciate the offer. We haven’t tried the other flavors for the same reason. My friend has been ordering it from Sam’s Club now. They have the cheapest prices he’s found for us non Oklahomans.

I left you hanging for a bit, but you know this touches my heart. Having gone through childhood cancer myself I would not resist to donate to this. Make a Wish is a great cause, it doesn’t help kids like us Paul. I was asked if I wanted a wish and what I wanted was a hunt. They don’t do that with Make A Wish which I totally understand. I turned down all offers anyways because I was going to survive my illness, either way this is a great cause and I’ll be a voice for this cause anytime! Thank you Paul, you’re a great man!

Ice is thick enough here there are motorized toys on them now around here. 10 weeks doesn’t seem too far off though.

If he were still with us Aaron Martens/ Dean Rojas I guess I should elaborate. Polar opposite. Martins was a finesse guru and made a ton of money on the drop shot. Rojas is a power fisherman and has made a ton of money on his frog.

Yikes! I did not know this, how long before current seasons show up? While I love the access to past seasons, I’m really looking for the new season of certain fishing shows.

Totally understand that. All I’m really asking for is for them to change their recording from “emails will be responded to in a day” to “we will respond to your email as soon as possible”. I know, it’s first world problems. I’m still going to use TW, and this was my only frustration with them all the years I’ve used them.

Has anyone confirmed it’s $6 for $6 and not $6/piece for a six pack? I know some including myself are wondering because $1/piece is a smoking deal!

They never answered anyways and took 2-4 days to respond to emails. It was quite frustrating but my Dobyns rod is finally on its way after 10 days on sloooooooooow communication with them. Luckily lakes are frozen here so no rush, but was still maddening.
