Mrs. 12poundbass got herself a new buggy. She’s been wanting an SUV for a while now, she just never cared for the car. She sold the car a couple weeks ago and just happened to ask my stepmom about her SUV and two weeks after the initial inquiry we bought my stepmom’s SUV. This is a better fit for the wife’s dog grooming gig anyways.

Well I was hunting for a deal on the Fuego to no avail, then I came across what seems like a decent deal on the Tatula CT. Midway USA has them for $89, so I picked one up. The only downfall is the estimated delivery date is Aug. 17. I’ve never ordered from Midway so I don’t know if it’ll get here quick. I really didn’t need the reel, so I suppose I can wait if it does indeed take that long.

Looks like a sweet rig, that’s for sure! If and when you get it, when you break in the motor, I’ll be waiting in Holland for you to pick me up and we’ll do a little fishing. There’s no better way to break it in than take her across the big lake. Then we’ll head north and pick @A-Jay up in Traverse City. I’ll give you $20 towards gas. ?

Three suspects have been arrested. One had said one of the victims stole a care or a motor for a vehicle I believe was the motive.

When did the boat flavor change?

I ordered $55 worth of stuff from them last Saturday (18th) and got the free shipping. I was originally told it would be three weeks, then a couple days later was told it was shipped. I just looked and it shows it’s been delayed, so who the heck knows.

I did see that. I watch looking at spending about $80-85 on the Fuego until the Sportsman link, then I saw the Tatula 200 for $100! Life is full of difficult decisions. Lol

Took a much needed day off. The kid and I head the water around 6:30 in the am. Nothing to write home about as far as fish go, a few dinks, but it was nice to hit the water first thing.

I’m thinking about adding another reel to the lineup, and to the shock of some of you yes I’m thinking about getting something besides Abu Garcia. I’ve heard good things about the Fuego casting reel, so I thought I’d pick your brains. What are your thoughts on the Daiwa Fuego reels, are there different versions of the Fuego? Thanks in advance!

I placed an order Saturday, I got the free shipping. I received and email saying it would ship August 7th! Bummed but oh well. Monday I receive and email saying my order is on its way. So who the heck knows what’s going on, my order could be here between now and the end of August.
