  1. Possibly true. Ours expires the same date as yours and I never fish before or closely after these dates. However, my drivers license expires this year, and I can surely renew it well before it expires. I would hope the fishing license is the same, but I guess I don’t know.
  2. If you plan on fishing after tomorrow why not just get one instead of rolling the dice?
  3. That one is perfect for me as well. I couldn’t have said it better. I won’t ride on the coattails of Sasquatch so I’ll say not a sports figure but a sport franchise. I’m the Detroit Lions for every year of their existence it seems like with the exception of last season. They try and try, make countless changes with no positive luck! 😁
  4. Nice work, congrats!
  5. Nope! I just go fishing.
  6. The Padcrasher has been my go to for quite some time now. I have enough of them to last me quite a while so if they have changed I’m not too worried for now.
  7. Only had a couple hours this morning. Air temps were low 60’s at launch, and a stiff breeze out of the east which isn’t ideal. I had a short strike on a Plopper and lost one by the boat on a swim jig. The only catch of the day was this one by 6poundbass.
  8. I’d say I’m a 5-6. Two 9” Garmins linked together, no FFS, no spot lock, no anchors.
  9. @ATA I decided to move it off our door and it opened it’s wings. Cool patterns.
  10. We had a storm blow through this morning. As I was letting the dogs outside noticed this on the door and thought it was a leaf.
  11. Yup you NEVER fill past 80%, that’s a given and always have been. I’ve been on propane ( almost exclusively) since leaving the nest 20 years ago.

    Welcome to Bassresource
  13. Good luck on the new venture!
  14. This alarm clock doesn’t have a snooze button. There are only two times this cat will meow, when he’s hungry and when he wants his pets (us) to wake up. Once you’re awake, he’s fine. 😡
  15. @gimruis we haven’t been out in quite a while. My son has the license (I’m regretting not getting one). He’s been busy on the weekends doing various things with friends so we haven’t been out. There was one weekend I couldn’t get his butt out of bed. The weather is warm now and I’m seeing the Tom’s with hens now so I’m not getting a license myself. Next weekend is a long weekend and our last for the year so we’ll see what happens. Next year…. I’m getting a license!
  16. Truth be told it’s really you the members. Things very rarely get off the rails and threads rarely get closed. Disagreements naturally happen from time to time but, everyone is respectful when they disagree or debate. So thank you all for making the site a friendly and enjoyable place to be and thank you to @Glenn for starting it and everyone else who works behind the scenes to put this all together.
  17. I don’t remember which pro said it, but it made sense…. if the bass can get one big meal over several little meals they go that route, ie several minnows or one big slow easy to snatch fish or in your case worm.
  18. @NorcalBassin judging by the white tips of their fans I’m guessing they’re Merriam turkeys. That bird is on my bucket list. Cool looking birds with those tips.
  19. Pike Dogwood trees Wind Hot humid days Frozen water
  20. All but 2-3 of my setups are all braid. No leader, just braid.
