  1. 4-7” scheduled for Friday. 😡
  2. There’s snow on the ground!
  3. Not sure about you but it was crazy windy here today!
  4. Sounds like something they’d sell at an adult bookstore 😂
  5. I go outside this morning to start the truck to let it warm up since it was in the low 30’s. When I shut it off Friday I had it on cool and the dash vents on, this morning I had to crank the heat and defrost. Low 30’s and snow this morning. Gotta love this time of year getting jerked around like this.
  6. Yup just slide it over the chuck. I’ve also used a little duct tape to hold it on before too.

I had it at age 19 while going through my chemo. I had it just under my left peck and it wrapped around to my left shoulder blade. It was quite painful and still to this day (21 years later) I still have nerve damage from it. I can barely feel my fingers go across my skin in the area.
  8. To all my fellow Irishmen enjoy the day!
  9. I use the cardboard from a roll of toilet paper, put it on my drill, and the old line is off my reels in no time flat.
  10. On my way to work a couple days ago I came upon a guy who just hit a deer. As I’m slowly driving by I look over at the deer on the side of the road and noticed it had antlers! I’ve never seen a buck with antlers this late. Anyone seen deer with antlers this time of the year?
  11. I’m willing to bet the car won’t start because the carburetor is…..flooded.
  12. I read somewhere else that Helix was being discontinued, which would make sense. They have Helix, Solix, and Apex. Do they need three models?
  13. Sounds like a pretty sweet gig @T-Billy!
  14. #2 no doubt about it.
  15. I’ve worked outside almost me entire adult life. I’m not a fan of either of those temps. If I had to pick one I’d probably take 10* that caveat to that is no wind! You factor wind into that and you’re done. A dry 95* and a steady breeze wouldn’t be terrible. Through in humidity and no wind, heck no! You can dress for the cold. When it comes to the heat, there’s only so many clothes you can legally take off. 😁
  16. @TnRiver46 I was being serious. I couldn’t. It’s pretty much in their DNA to be the caretaker, nurturer, and so on. Don’t get me started on child birth! NOPE!
  17. It’s an exhibition fight so it’ll be a dud. Neither are hurting for money just looking for a little extra cash.
  18. Even if everything were equal I couldn’t be a woman.
  19. @Eric 26 it’s all about location location location. There’s another variable in there too that we won’t get into. There’s a changing tide in my area that’s heading towards the trade. Parents are trying to teach their kids to learn from their mistakes. I’m not against college one bit. Like with my son, whatever he decides to do, you have to be strategic in the path you choose.
  20. The trades are not dwindling one bit! There are a lot of people who are waking up and smelling the coffee. You don’t need $100k in college debt to make a good living. It took me until I was 25 and a kid on the way to get my head on my shoulders and it still took another 6-7 years to work my way up. Knowing what I know now I could’ve been there by 25. Also knowing what I know now I’m pushing my son towards the trades especially a lineman. $15k in schooling and making $100k plus a year with dam good benefits is a no brainer. There have been a couple examples of some who went to college for a certain degree to go on to something else and left with a mountain of debt. We can all learn from others mistakes and I hope my son does and cuts his hardships in half.
  21. Work it girl!
